Nice little basement apartment a few minutes' walk from Thorshavn city center and harbor. P possibility close to the apartment.

The apartment was incredibly well appointed with everything you might possibly need in the kitchen, including a full array of herbs and spices. The owners were very helpful and always on hand in needed.

Very warm and cozy welcome. The place is lovely and stocked with everything you need. There is a laundry downstairs. Separately, I want to express my deep respect for the host Alvur, I was able to build a really interesting conversation with him. I recommend this apartment, if you plan to stay in the city, you will not regret it.

I had a wonderful stay at Høgni's. After a problematic start to my vacation (nothing to do with where I stayed!) Finally getting to my location Høgni really made me feel at ease and was very informative about his property and the sounding area. My stay was very comfortable and homely. The location was perfect, allowing me to move to place to place easily. I would give this a 5* rating. I have some advice for fellow travellers if you are coming from the UK. Be prepared that your phone signal won't work I use EE. I had to purchase a local sim card from Tórshavn the day after I landed, allowing me to use my Google maps.

We felt very well at the house, and it was a great place for our days in Torshavn. The host Jakup was kind and helpful, and the house is wonderful... It was the perfect base to explore the capital and surroundings, and everything was just superb and very comfortable. Thanks for your hospitality! Best regards

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy house in Leynar. The location is ideal – quiet yet central to explore the islands. The house is equipped with everything you need: a fully equipped kitchen with all utensils, a cozy fireplace for cozy evenings and a bathroom with excellent water pressure. After a day of exploring, it was the perfect place to relax. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates comfort and a great location.

This stay was such a gem! Hosts were so kind and responsive. The house has an amazing and peaceful view and the showers had great water pressure. Highly recommend this beautiful and peaceful stay.

We had a great time at Við Anna and stayed for 12 nights. The house and interior are even nicer than the pictures. We had everything we needed and the house is very cosy during rainy days (which we had surprisingly few of). We will miss the lovely place by the window where you can relax and enjoy the view. The view from Steinbjorn’s home is quite possibly the most beautiful vista I have experienced anywhere in the World. They say location is everything, and I don’t believe my experience of the Faroe Islands would have been as good had I stayed anywhere else. The solitude of Elduvík was perfect for my solo mountain biking trip, the pink sunsets at Midnight incredible, and the hot tub after a few hours on the bike the icing on the cake. The lounge and dining room are spacious and well appointed, the kitchen clean and well provisioned. I had the pleasure of meeting Steinbjorn when I arrived at the house. He is a friendly chap and is clearly proud of his home. Communication with him both prior to, and during my trip was superb, lots of recommendations for places to visit, and information regarding the village. Steinbjorn was also very attentive to any queries I had whilst at the house. I could not have hoped for a better experience.

Spacious, clean and warm apartment with a view on the harbor. Minutes from Torshavn. Full kitchen with brand new cookware. Rannva is a great host and responded to all questions very quickly. We split our stay between Argir and Klaksvik and should have stayed at this place for the whole duration of the trip.

Great place and great location!

I loved Atli’s place. It is so lovely and comfortable. It has everything you need and a breathtaking view. Atli is also a welcoming and helpful host. I would absolutely recommend this accommodation for anybody visiting the Faroe Islands.

Guðrun was super friendly and provided us with a lot of suggestions to do in the area. The place was small but nice and cozy. The furniture was brand new with everything we needed. The apartment had a nice view of the mountains around it and was in the center of where we wanted to hike and see.

Great stay at Martin's. Beautiful setting with views of the mountains and the fjord. The planned apartment was not finished when we arrived, so we stayed in their house just above it. I am convinced that once completed, it will be of the same high quality as their house, and you will have a wonderful stay there.

What a pleasant stay we had in Leirvík. Thorhild and Runi were welcoming and great hosts. It was a great place to explore Eysturoy and the surrounding islands and places to see. Highly recommend.
