Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Tornac

Great stay in the Cevennes, in a peaceful little haven. Cottage near the river and in a preserved area. Great tips from Michèle and Pierre.

What a beautiful garden! And the pool was much appreciated, in these beautiful days. The whole is atypical: the bedrooms (2 out of 3 are equipped with bathroom and toilet), the living room, the kitchen-dining room are in three different places (but very close to each other). So it's not a house, strictly speaking, but a set of places, all extremely pleasant. If you had to find a fault: one of the three bedrooms, intended for children, does not have a bathroom. It might bother some people, but not us. Another pleasant point: a petanque court, and many small details that show that the hosts pay great attention to visitors.

Gerard and Valerie’s place is wonderful. In the most amazing setting: a stone house overlooking a rushing river. So beautiful you barely want to leave the house. But the nearby hikes are amazing and full of variety. A nature lover’s dream. Gerard and Valerie are lovely hosts. Incredibly responsive, helpful, charming.

Sonia is a very welcoming host and full of good recommendations. The accommodation offered is very functional, we did not lack anything.

Very well-equipped accommodation for a very pleasant stay. Several activities and visits nearby. Leïla is very friendly and left us completely alone, while remaining available as needed. Thanks for a few days.

Carefully decorated home, unobstructed views and soothing setting in the middle of nature. We had a great time and would have stayed longer. We particularly appreciated the flexibility with our arrival and departure times, the little touches in the accommodation, the comfort both inside and outside and the activities available on site (pétanque, ping pong, bikes available). We felt great in the house and surrounding area. Note that the pool area is shared with the terraced house.

The stay at Sandrine's house was fabulous! Nothing to say, it was a real pleasure to spend our week's vacation at her place. She advised us on activities and other things to do. It was really nice to interact with her. The accommodation is superb, well furnished and tastefully decorated. We can't wait to plan our next vacation there, because the area is beautiful. Go there without so much as a second thought!

Family with a child and a baby, we stayed 5 nights in Nickie's house. We had a lovely stay. The house was clean and particularly well-equipped. We also enjoyed the outdoors and especially the private beach a few minutes walk from the property. The baby equipment was great. The view from the house is great. There are numerous hikes to do in the vicinity. Off-season, plan a few errands and/or bring cash. We particularly enjoyed the market in the village of Sainte Croix Vallée Française (on Nickie's advice). We highly recommend this accommodation and a big thank you to Nickie and Yves for their special touches, trust and hospitality!

We had a really lovely stay in Le Viognier, La Bastide. J, J & A were all very attentive and ensured we were well looked after. The flat is a former wine cellar, with stone walls and ceilings, which meant it kept a stable temperature when the temperature outside was hot. We made use of the pool, the local restaurant and the bakery recommendation. The village itself is peaceful, and makes a great base to explore the Cevennes to the west and the historical towns to the east. I would recommended this place to stay.

Christine and Dominique were very charming and welcoming. The accommodation was very spacious, clean, very well-equipped. The location is ideal for walking or biking. The pool is beautiful, and full of games for the children. We had a great time in Avignon!

Simon is very nice, helpful, I would even say adorable!! Renovated studio with beautiful materials, very comfortable bedding, practical kitchen with the essentials, quiet place, I will gladly come back!

Great family stay at this beautiful residence. The accommodation is very well-appointed and well-equipped, with an exterior that delighted the children (access to the pool, trampoline, swings...). Yves and his wife are very welcoming and accommodating hosts, with small touches that are always appreciated :) The accommodation is perfectly located for visiting this beautiful region, go without hesitation!

We spent two wonderful weeks at Agnès's place. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed. The accommodation is impeccable, clean, tidy and as described. The pool is lovely, the setting is exceptional. This is a true haven of peace. We received great advice from Agnès and her spouse regarding the surrounding places, restaurants and activities in the area. The stay went by way too fast! We only stayed one night at Bernard's. No comments to make about the studio. Very nice welcome too. I highly recommend its rental.

Excellent place, very clean, well distributed and nicely renovated department with a lot of utensils and its own private parking spot. Thierry was very proactive, responsive and super kind, he waited for us and showed us the place. The hosts also let us arrive before our check in time.

We spent 1 night at Gilles' apartment, everything was perfect. The outside is really nice, Gilles lent us his barbecue and terrace for the evening. We were able to enjoy our weekend as we wanted, thank you again for hosting us, we will surely come back! Mattéo

A wonderful and memorable stay! The studio is still as charming and pleasant, very well equipped and comfortable. The spring light bathes the space in a beautiful softness, we like to stay and rest there, after a hike or simply to recharge. Véronique and Pascal are perfectly friendly and very attentive hosts. It's a real pleasure to stay with them. The Ardèche Gorges are nearby, as are many hikes, caves and quaint villages. Nia is a gem. We recommend it, and we'll be back. 😉✨

Great place great location

This apartment is a cocoon of sweetness. It felt good there. It is impeccable, neat and tastefully decorated. The terrace is lovely. The calm of the neighborhood and the residence allows you to enjoy it in peace. Beach, shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Our stay was perfect for us and our dogs!

The apartment was beautiful and very clean. The area was peaceful and well located. Thomas was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. An excellent stay!

We stayed at Michelle’s apartment for 2 weeks. It was the best vacation rental we have ever stayed at (among probably 20 + places we have rented over the last 40 years). Everything about the experience with Michelle was top notch. She’s so friendly, thoughtful, caring and professional. We needed to contact her a few times during the stay, and she handled every question perfectly and with grace. The apartment’s amenities ticked off all the boxes. We chose it for the proximity to downtown, and were happy to be able to walk easily to all the stores, restaurants, pharmacy, Place aux Herbes, etc. That means a lot, since my husband cannot walk long distances. In addition, we arrived in town at the start of a very nasty cold/flu illness we’d picked up on a cruise a few days before. The apartment was perfectly suited to help us rest and recover. Very nice studio, well-equipped, the pool is a big bonus. The accommodation was great, the hosts were very responsive and pleasant. No complaints, top notch :)
