My lovely house in Wales

HannahRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Sian was extremely helpful giving me clear instructions on everything we needed to know eg. how to separate the rubbish. The property was absolutely beautiful with so much space. It was absolutely worth the cost as all the rooms were lovely with nice linen and towels and flannels left out for us. The property had a lovely and comfortable front room and a breakfast room too. The outside toilet was a Godsend as my mum is disabled so made life much easier. It had exactly what we needed and it felt very homely. We were all struck by the amazement of the place as soon as we walked in. Sian made so much effort to make us feel welcome and went above and beyond as a host by leaving a little stand of chocolate and biscuits, cake in a cake tin and croissants in the bread bin. There was also cereals, milk in the fridge and tea, coffee and sugar on the side. I messaged the host to ask a question when we were there and she responded pretty much straight away. highly recommend it to everyone x

HELEN AND RICK ARE MY HEROES!!!! The house, price, welcome were all perfect. What happened after my original stay was way better than my expectations. I had a nasty fall at Bike Park Wales, which resulted in being at A&E for 8 hours. I live in Kent and called Helen to see if I could stay another night, which she agreed to. I arrived around midnight and Rick (owners husband) got up, made me some food and made sure I was ok. The morning after and Helen gave me some cream for my wounds and helpful advice. Best stay ever and best AirBnB hosts too. If there's any AirBnB award for the best hosts, they deserve it.

Upper Red House - lovely old farmhouse.

DebRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Teona’s Upper Red House is her special home. We were grateful for this experience in her historic farmhouse and site. We woke in cozy soft beds to watch the sun come up in the morning mist on the Welsh landscape. We walked and enjoyed looking through the books she made easily available too. The Upper Red house was a jumping off place for us to Tintern Abbey, Chepstow Castle and St Fagans National Museum of History. We wish we could have stayed longer with Teona. The Brecon Beacons, Cardiff and Caerphilly Castle are within reach too and still on our wish list. Thank you, Teona!
