Monthly Rentals in Toon

We stayed at Mori’s place for 8 nights and had the most amazing time. It is a lovely cabin in the forest, very peaceful, with only the sound of the birds. The cabin is cosy, with good hot and cold AC, and lots of blankets. There is a lovely bath. Mori made the cabin himself, it’s amazing! The cabin is right on the Shikoku pilgrimage trail, with lots of options of walks through the forest from the door. We walked to Temple 44 in just under an hour, and into Kumakogen to a cafe (Kuma Cafe, which was great). There is a good supermarket in Kumakogen where you can get all of your supplies. You can get to the cabin on the bus from Matsuyama JR station, it was really easy. Then Mori was kind enough to pick us up from Kumakogen. Mori was the most friendly and generous host. He invited us for coffee, and took us on some amazing trips to see the local area - Temple 45 + Omogo Gorge. You won’t find a kinder air bnb host! Great place to stay. The house is very easy to find, once you exit Iyo-Hojo station it's a straight less than 10 minute walk. It's close the a small ship dock. And close to the gate of Kashima island. The house itself is a typical old style Japanese house. It's quite spacious with 2 floors. There is a room with a desk and bed on the first floor and 2 rooms on the second floor. The walls are a bit thin, so sometimes you can hear people pass by. But it's a very quiet area, so it's nothing bothersome and I actually liked it. Location is good. There are 2 supermarkts on walking distance, some convenient stores and close to the ferry to Kashima island. The hosts responds fast and came by to pick up trash bags a couple of times. The instructions before arriving were quite clear. I stayed for a bit less than 2 weeks. I highly recommend it. The area has a rural atmosphere, but still near a station. It's quite spacious and also good price. Definitely worth it.

It was a very beautiful and well-maintained house.It had everything we needed, such as dishes and furniture, and we had a very pleasant time.The house is spacious, and it is large enough for one family to live in.The station was also close, so I didn't feel any inconvenience even without a car or bicycle.You can get to Matsuyama Station in about 15 minutes. The surroundings were very quiet, and I was able to spend a healing month. In addition, we are very grateful for the many foods you have prepared, such as bread, homemade rice, and butter.The warm hospitality made our stay more comfortable. I'd love to stay there again.Thank you!

We had an amazing time at Kaho's place. She has decorated the space so tastefully and it felt like such a hidden gem tucked away in the quiet countryside. It was a true nature getaway - the surrounding area has so many beautiful nature spots, which Kaho listed in her helpful guide. We also slept so well here and felt so energised for our travels ahead.
