We've had two nice days in Hege's garden dream. Now it was winter, but so cozy anyway. Can imagine how nice it is in the garden during summer. Lovely view and such a nice house. We brought our dog and went for walks in the neighborhood. Hege is the absolute best host with cake and coffee upon arrival. Really recommend the place if you need a place to stay in Horten.

Everything as I expected and pleasant hosts

We stayed at Nora's place for 2 days in connection with a visit to the Marine Museum in Horten. A great house in a quiet street a short distance from Horten city center. Bright, nice and tidy house with large garden that was a perfect fit for a family with children.

I had a fantastic stay at Camilla’s place! From the moment I booked, communication was seamless, and they provided clear instructions for check-in. The home was exactly as described- clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. Camilla went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcome, offering great local recommendations and responding quickly to any questions. The neighborhood was safe and conveniently located, making my trip even more enjoyable. I highly recommend staying here and would love to return in the future. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at ‘The Old House by the Sea.’ We expected ‘old’ as we are familiar with the area and there are many old, historic houses. The sleeping arrangements for a family of five were perfect and allowed for privacy when needed. Beds were comfortable. The village itself is beautiful and quiet. The house is situated in an ideal location close to everything: Oslo fjord, shops, restaurants, pubs and galleries. We had a great place to grill in the evenings. We would choose this house for a future visit.

We stayed with Stefan as a family with 2 children (10 and 15) for a week. For us, it was the first time in Norway. Stefan welcomed us warmly and guided us through the house. The description of the place is already very meaningful, but it does not in the least reflect how the view into the distance of the fjord from the living and dining area feels: breathtaking! The huge house really lacks nothing. The children loved the terrace and especially the pool. The evenings at the fire pit were also really very nice. There is also a guitar in the living room, which our son liked very much. The Telemark region also offers something for everyone, from water sports to hiking to fabulous places. We recommend a hike on the Gygrestolen⛰️, a visit to the Trollfoss 💦waterfall but also the coastal towns of Langesund, Kragerø, Arendal and Kristiansand. We will 🇳🇴 miss Norway . Very clean apartment and Jevgenij was always responsive.

Family of 7 (2 adults and 5 children aged 9-14) who lived in the house on a sunny summer week. 🌞 Spacious and well-maintained home in well-established and peaceful neighborhood. Large and nice outdoor area with many sun hours 🌞 Cozy nature adjacent to the garden. We were visited by a great deer w/calf in the morning 🦌 Well-equipped kitchen with everything you might need. The smallest kids had a good time in the pool. We recommend the place to Ståle and Elin to anyone who wants a quiet and nice place for both adults and children 👌

Helgunn and Olav were very good and pleasant hosts. The stay was hassle free and the apartment was perfect for us bringing a small child. Recommended!

This house is so great. Our stay for 6 weeks at Horten have been so much easy with all the facilities available. Big kitchen, laundry facility and decent interior design. Host is so kind to let us borrow their bicycles since we did not have any transportation here 😆 Thank you 🙏🏽

Magical days in great surroundings. All three generations were delighted. Incredibly lovely to have sun from morning to evening in the outdoor areas. We are happy to come back here.

Fantastic nice apartment with everything needed and then some. Quiet area and lovely sit out on the deck when the sun was looking out.

We were a group of seven young adults (big kids) who had an incredibly nice weekend at the smallholding of Andreas and Teresa. We got amazing invasion and joined the feeding of emu and pig migration, as well as playing paintball, grilling and petting both rabbits, dogs and alpacas. We were a group of 5 adults renting the house in connection with an event in the area. Everyone slept comfortably in separate rooms. The house is spacious, very tidy and has a pleasant atmosphere. The kitchen was well equipped Lovely view from all the windows of the house! Bjarne and Lina appear generous and warm, and showed incredible service by offering us a ride to the event we were going to. We would be happy to come back another time!
