Pete’s Ponderosa

Such a beautiful private area. Susan was an excellent host. We enjoyed our overnight stay. Definitely would have stayed longer if our trip had permitted. The large back porch was relaxing morning and evening.

“The Angela” at Lake Leona

ScottRating, 5 stars4 days ago
The Angela was so peaceful and beautiful. The place felt so charming and homie. We booked the day of, because we had no idea about what to expect in the Silas, AL area. Angie approved our reservation right away and was ready for us. She had nice little personal touches that made you feel at home when you arrived. The inside was so clean and tidy. They have everything you would need from a coffee maker, hair dryer and even a laundry room! The outdoor surroundings are amazing. There are so many different options to choice to relax and unwind. Our favorite was the couples swing where you could view the pristine lake and yard areas. This morning we drank coffee and ate banana bread she had left for us on the lighted patio. Unfortunately we did not get to use the beautiful fire pit as we arrived late and were ready to climb into the comfy bed. Angie and her family have really put a lot into making this a special place for their guests and we will definitely be back to visit again.

This is our second time staying in this loft while attending the play To Kill a Mockingbird. As always , it was clean, spacious , and perfect for our needs. We really enjoyed the balcony. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Cottage at Fairhope Bluff

AndrewRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My family and I cant say enough about this cabin. Within the first 10 minutes of being there we knew that it would not be our first and last trip there. The camp is secluded and quiet. The exterior is nice and what you would imagine a cabin to look. The interior is modern and clean. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes and cookware. The beds were comfortable but the highlight for us was the back porch. It is fully screened including under the floor boards so mosquitoes were not a problem unlike most scenarios in south Mississippi, especially close to water. The bluetooth stereo on the back porch was really nice and the tunes combined with the flowing water of the leaf river made for a care free relaxing stay. We look forward to booking again in the near future.
A bright kitchen is equipped with white cabinetry and dark countertops. Essential appliances include a stove, oven, and refrigerator. A coffee maker is positioned next to the sink, with natural light entering through a window above. A small decorative rug lies on the floor.

Chatom Retreat w/ Furnished Deck & Wooded Views!

ElisabethRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This was such a cute, simple spot and we enjoyed staying here! My number one review is that I’m paranoid about seeing roaches in southern places and didn’t see any in this home! That’s a HUGE plus for me! My 4 y-o kept asking me where the toys were (haha) so I wish they’d had some easily washable toys (like legos, barbies or board games) available for kids during their stay. I did notice the ceiling fans were dusty, as well as under the beds and baseboards, but I do pay attention to detail that others may not. I also wish the bathroom window and kitchen doors had options for additional privacy. Overall, the experience was comfortable and I’d stay here with my family again. I appreciated the responsiveness from the owners and also appreciated that they took the initiative and reached out before I even arrived. Thank you, Chatom retreat!

Twin Cypress, Escatawpa River Camp

JenniferRating, 5 stars6 days ago
My family and I had the best time at Twin Cypress!! Jimmie and Kelly were great host answering all my questions prior to our arrival and were available if we needed them during our stay - which we did not. They have created such a beautiful and relaxing space for the whole family to enjoy. We just returned home today and I can’t wait to book our next stay!! Thank you both for sharing what felt like a little piece of heaven to me!

Country living at its best

SarahRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We needed a place to sleep near Citronelle. The location was perfect. Everything clean, the WiFi we could not get to work but we didn’t need it. We were only there to shower and sleep. My daughter was going to read in living room but no light bulbs in lamps. She just read in bed instead. So for what we needed it was perfect.
