This was a last-minute choice when we realized we would be too slow in reaching our destination for the day. Iselin saved the day by responding quickly and offing her wonderful place. We had an amusing misunderstanding when the Airbnb translation service converted part of the street name to an English word and made it impossible to find in mapping software. But Iselin kindly guided us by phone and all was well. This is a beautiful and spacious place, but we arrived late and left early so we didn't get to enjoy it for long.

Ivar was a caring wool host. He was thoughtful and made sure we were comfortable. The cabin was amazing. Absolutely deserted. We didn't meet a human. The peace and quiet was rewarding. We enjoyed the peace and nature was unique. A priceless experience in the mountains, in the woods, and by the lake.

I had a wonderful stay at this charming, traditional cabin. The hosts had thoughtfully prepared everything in advance, including water and firewood, which made our stay worry-free. We enjoyed a fantastic time with friends, surrounded by the beautiful nature of Norway. Highly recommended!

We stayed with my family 1.5 weeks in the beautiful cottage house of Espen and Freja. It is an amazing place, where time stands still and you can enjoy long walks in the beautiful nature around, spend evenings by the fireplace with a good read, and have some quality time far from the rush of the civilization. The house itself is renovated and equipped with all the amenities you might need. Very clean and neat. We chose to stay during the winter, and despite our initial worries it was super warm and cosy inside. Espen and Freja are wonderful hosts. The house was ready and prepared for us, including some nice seasonal decorations. The beds were also made and bathroom was ready for us. We felt very welcomed. And they stayed close with us, just a message away, at all times. All in all an amazing experience, that we will surely remember for a very long time. Totally recommend their house for those who want to have amazing time, close to the nature.

Eva not say enough about this beautiful house. The location was picturesque and tranquil, we enjoyed sipping our nespresso looking at the view. There was more than enough space for two families, even though we were only three. We had a sauna every day and were lucky to have some snow. The beds were heavenly, we slept in every day. We did some skiing at Panorama Vradal right down the road. Kiki was super responsive in helping us figure things out. Her place is perfect for rest and relaxation. We will be back!!

A nice house with character. Rustic maybe a bit outdated. But it doesn't always have to be the latest frills. Everything you need. The only thing we found inconvenient was the access to the house. Parking across the street from winding road with no speed limit. There are mirrors but we were always a bit queasy when parking out, as the road is quite busy.

We have spent one week in the cabin of Aart to enjoy the tranquility and go skiing a bit. The cabin is high standard and the location is unashamed with amazing nature. Aart has described everything from directions to practical information in detail so nothing was left to chance. The cabin is very practical and has everything you need for a comfortable holiday. Very cozy cabin as described in the indicated text. Very comfortable double bed. The kitchen equipped with everything you need for a short weekend trip. We were very pleased. Some difficulty with the lockbox but it eventually worked out with Lise on the phone. As there was some poor coverage on the phone and dark when we arrived, we had a little trouble finding the cabin. Recommending to screenshot road maps when there is good coverage if you arrive in the dark. When it is bright no problem as the cabin shines yellow and nice. We would gladly come again!

Fairytale like experience. You might just believe a little elf or troll might knock on the door. Comfortable beds, a little short, but that didn’t bother us. Very cute and cozy interior. It might be a little chilly, but the sheets are warm and there is a radiator. Although I would still advise to bring some warmer clothes. The bathroom was nice. Very sweet owner, I do recommend.

Excellent house near the ski slope at the bottom of the mountain. That also means that during the day the sun does not shine on the terraces. The house is well decorated, feels comfortable when it has warmed up (it was -23C) and was spacious enough for the six people we were with. Two cars fit well with the house. The road was kept neatly snow-free. There were no appliances broken, everything was tidy and we would book it again. Great place, good host, nothing to complain about.

Very well-equipped kitchen. Shopping for groceries and attractions such as Hamaren Activity Park and Bygdemuseum is within walking distance. Location is great for things to do in the area. Especially for fishing and hiking, the location was ideal. On the terrace you could enjoy the sun all day.

Amazingly beautiful with a big lake just over a small road. Rauland's ski area was perfect for our grandchildren (3.3.5 and 5.5 years) Plenty of wood we could use for both inside and out. We had a great week!

We had a lovely week in Rauland. We were there without a car and could do everything in about 15 minutes on foot (shopping, to the cross-country ski trails or even to the free ski bus). The house was very cozy and something very special!

Our family of two adults and two children spent 3 nights at Christian's cabin at the start of the winter holidays. Nothing to postpone in either cabin or surroundings! Great decorated cabin that had everything we needed and more. Great to be able to strap on the cross-country skiing just outside the door, trek over the yard also we were right in the light trails. The jacuzzi was also a big plus, which we took advantage of every night. Christian was friendly and quick to respond when we had any questions. Highly recommend the place to stay!
