Monthly Rentals in Tohunga Junction

We had a wonderful time in this lovely home. The house was beautifully decorated, cosy and warm and the perfect base for exploring the Tongariro National Park. We also appreciated the delicious treats provided by our host Kate!

I couldn’t have enjoyed Gary’s Airbnb more. Nestled between beautiful NZ bush is the gem of a cottage. The spot is the real winner and the bath is magnificent. Thank you so much Gary for your hospitality and for such a wonderful stay.

I stayed in Kosbys Cottage for 2 weeks in the New Zealand summer to hike in Tongariro National Park. The cottage was a large space for a solo traveler but provided a nice kitchen with adequate pots, utensils, and so forth for meal preparation. It was a very pleasant space to relax in after a long day of hiking, and rest days were pleasant with a large sofa for lounging and large dining room table for working and eating. Notes for future guests: the New World grocery in Ohakune is large enough to shop when you arrive; the front door was locking automatically every time the door closed so I was very careful to keep the key with me at all times to prevent lockout; read the cottage information on the refrigerator for helpful tips. I used the woodstove early in my trip when the nights were cold and it kept the cottage warm and felt like part of the adventure. Sara was responsive to my questions. I would stay here again for a long time.

The booking was accurate and not fussy in that you felt at home. Sharon was very proactive as soon as i made the booking and accomodating when i needed extra request because i had an event on. Thanks ill definitely be back!
