Schwarzwaldhaus Schönbühl, Apartment Mättle

In addition to its ideal location overlooking the climatic health resort of Todtmoos and the pilgrimage church, Schwarzwaldhaus Schönbühl offers a unique feel-good atmosphere. Originally built as a sanatorium, it was run as a guesthouse for decades. For almost 100 years, people have felt comfortable here, spent their holidays here and recovered. From the sunny southern slope of the Todtmoos valley, it is a few steps to the town center with numerous shops, cafes and restaurants.

Schweigmatt is a recreational area for nature lovers in the middle of the Southern Black Forest Biosphere Reserve. Our beautiful forest house stands above the sea of clouds of the Rhine Valley. Start your hikes right outside the door on the Westweg, or mountain bike tour through the Black Forest. Take the S-Bahn (8 min by car) in 30 min to Basel, France is 45 minutes away, Freiburg an hour. Feldberg 45 minutes. Attention: Schweigmatt swimming pool only for club members.

Our vacation apartment in Todtmoos is situated at over 1000 meters altitude, right on the edge of the forest with a stunning view. It accommodates up to 5 people and is ideal for nature enthusiasts and hiking lovers. The balcony and garden, featuring a fire pit and pergola, invite you to relax. A special highlight is the bookable hot tub, perfect for unwinding after hikes, especially in winter. The cozy furnishings make the apartment a true haven of comfort!

Set in Herrischried, the vacation home "Ferien Alm Alfret" occupies an idyllic alpine pasture and offers a splendid view of the mountains and the Black Forest. The 2-storey property is a typical example of the regional architecture and consists of a living room, a fully-equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an additional toilet and can accommodate 6 people. Our apartment "Salesia" is centrally located to the center of Todtmoos. The spa gardens, playground, mini golf and the pedestrian zone of Todtmoos are within walking distance. The vacation rental is located in a house with a total of 3 residential units and is on the first floor. From the living room you have direct access to the garden. Ideal starting point for hiking, skiing or sledding, Badeparadies Schwarzwald 40 minutes by car.

Our apartment, which was completely renovated and refurnished in 2023, is located on the outskirts of town, but you can still walk to the town center in a few minutes and thus be close to the restaurants and shopping. In addition to two bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen, you will find a large spacious living room that invites you to relax with the fireplace, smart TV and relaxation lounger.

Vacation home I Mattenweg 1a

Our accommodation is very quiet on a small stream at the edge of the forest. 20 meters away is a wonderful cross-country ski trail. A hiking trail (Lebküchlerweg) leads directly past the house to the waterfalls. Approx. 1 km. Ideal for relaxing and forgetting about everyday life. For motorcycles or bicycles, you are welcome to use the garage. Another person can come on request.

Silva Nigra Chalet for 4 at the pond

The Hierholzer pond is a habitat for dragonflies, aquatic insects, a spawning ground for numerous frogs and a summer meeting place for locals and their guests. The chalet/wooden house with large roof overhang, conservatory and balcony facing the pond provides 65 m² in 3.5 rooms. The property with 1000 m² west slope is sun-drenched. To the south there is an alpine view.

Favorite retreat:-) "Our Alpine view" in Todtmoos is a little gem for us - whether with children or alone, in spring, summer, autumn or winter, we always have a wonderful, relaxing time here. We want to share this and want our guests to do the same. ... at the moment we are looking forward to sunny spring days and the fresh green between the dark fir trees!
