Pepper Villa

RodRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Pepper villa is surrounded by a beautiful forest environment and river with wildlife all around. Some insects do find their way inside, we watched dazzling displays by fireflies on some evenings. Dimuthu was an amazing host and showed us around the farm pointing out the different plants and where the best swimming spots were. His parents live in the farmhouse nearby and were very kind and helped us get milk and Kurds from a local farm. There are a couple of small local shops with basic supplies and it's a short bus ride to the nearest town with more shops, cafes and ATMs. We found pepper villa a great place just to relax and well placed for longer excursions by bus, tuk tuk or train.

See turtle beach villa

SarahRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We really loved our stay at Amila’s. So much we extended for almost 3 weeks. The home was so clean and cozy. The garden was beautiful. Felt very private and peaceful. It was the perfect place to unwind, and disconnect. Amila provided water and beers, which was a nice added touch. And if you pay him his agreed upon price, he’ll drive you into town to get supplies/food you may need. Many restaurants are nearby. Our two favorites were Ruwani (right across the street), but especially Turtle Kingdom further down the beach to the right. Both family run businesses with great food and great prices for the southern province. Felt like a nice community in the area. Had many peaceful walks and saw so much wildlife. The beach was unlike any other. So much raw-natural beauty. It went on forever. The water in the area is very rough and not the best for swimming, but we still loved every bit of our experience. Would highly recommend staying at The See Turtle Villa. We already want to return.

Villa kadurupokuna

Samantha HayleyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The house is absolutely stunning, airy and bright. Big comfortable beds, beautiful roof terrace. We had to contact the hosting company to get Check in details because they weren’t provided which was odd. Communication with the management company wasn’t great (and a little abrupt) but with the actual host of the house (who owns the property and was the person who actually looked after us when we were there couldn’t have been better. The family were so friendly and couldn’t have helped us more. You need a scooter or a car to get around. We loved eating / beaching at Silent Beach and Hirikitiya. Sunrise villa has stunning sunrises too.

Fantastic accommodation and host. We had a lovely stay in this air bnb. The host was fantastic helping us with the laundry and organising a scooter. Finally the architecture of the building was stunning and the outdoor space. Close to everything thing you need in Tangelle. Highly recommend

Yala Avian Eye Safari

AndrewRating, 5 stars4 months ago
This place was the highlight of our trip in Sri Lanka. From the second you arrive its like staying with family. the beds are comfortable the rooms spacious, air con and hot water. The very low room rate made us think there would be something wrong. Quite the opposite, Bhagya should simply be charging more. The dinner the family cooked for us was incredible and to see the safari/yala at the North end of the park, away from the crowds was the best experience we could have hoped for. there's only 15 safari 4x4s in the north opposed to 300 vehicles in the south. Raise your prices Bhagya this is the best product in Sri Lanka
