Note! Limited bookings spring/summer 2025 due to construction work on the farm! Welcome to Vandbakkegaarden’s Retro House. Here you will find nature, peace and plenty of cosiness in authentic surroundings. The house is the original cottage built around 1930, while we live in a newer house on the property. The house deserves to be lived in and cared for, and you – our guests, contribute to that. We also appreciate offering our guests a different type of holiday and on a budget.

Free coffee, tea and in the fridge I have put some drinks and fast food, if you arrive late you are welcome to take them. No TV but Wi-Fi. Small kitchenette with microwave, toaster and airfryer. I live within a short distance, so I can quickly be there if you need help or need anything.

Quiet overnight stay in the charming country house, on a large natural plot. Enjoy the view of the glacial meltwater ravine and the neighbor's grazing cows right outside the front door. Take a walk on the large natural plot, in the forest on the slope down to the small stream, hang out by the small garden pond or get your heart rate up on the garden trampoline. Say hello to the hedgehogs, deer and pheasants on the grounds.
