Everything at the apartment was homey and comfortable, even with a surprise (to me at least!) April snowstorm! Perfect place to use as home base for exploring and Gretchen’s recommendations through the guide were super helpful.

I have only great things to say about Caitlynn and Matt’s guest house. My travel partner and I were very very very comfortable here. We are both from big cities so I admit it was a little jarring at first to come home to such darkness and quiet but after settling in we just found it cozy and peaceful and like a true retreat. There was some highway noise and lights that shine through the window also there is no microwave but we made do with the ample kitchen supplies and the airfryer which was very multifunctional. The highlight for me was the bed, soft sheets and it was a perfect memory mattress. They keep the cottage super clean, and that’s coming from a stickler! Caitlynn was also so helpful and responsive and her guidebook recs was what drew us to choosing their place. 100% recommend for any couple or solo traveler who wants a beautiful, tidy and quaint home base with easy driving access to all the Hudson Valley has to offer. We miss Caitlynn and Matt’s place already, thanks guys!

So happy we stayed at Jessica's place. Took a weekend trip with family to visit my grandfather in Kingston. It was only 15 mins away. Place looked better than pictures. Everything looked new and so CLEAN. It was in close proximity to places to eat. Had breakfast every morning across the street, at Lift Cafe. We didn't have any issues but the few times I reached out to Jessica, she was very responsive. I would definitely stay again!

My boyfriend and I were looking for a relaxing weekend escape from NYC and couldn’t have picked a better spot. We came to explore Kingston but loved the house so much that we were just as happy staying in, playing games, and soaking in the cozy vibes. The home is beautiful and thoughtfully appointed — I can only imagine how magical it must be in the summer with the porch, or in the fall with the foliage. Even in late winter, it was idyllic. The location is perfect — just about 10 minutes from Kingston, so it’s super easy to pop into town while still feeling tucked away. We’d absolutely stay here again!
