One of the best Airbnb experiences i ever had. David is an inspiring human being who will tell you a lot about mayan culture. They have a little place beside where they try to rise awareness for the environment. The house is simple and nothing fancy, but you will feel safe and cozy. All in all a one of those experiences where you really get out with a deeper cultural understanding. That is how Airbnb should be!
An arched entrance is framed by tall stone pillars, illuminated by flickering lights along the pathway. The dark silhouette of a historical structure rises in the background, surrounded by lush greenery under a night sky.

Casa Yaxunah | Cenote Front & 30 min from Chichén

Staying at Miguel Angel’s Airbnb was one of the highlights of our honeymoon. The property is absolutely beautiful and peaceful—just what my husband and I needed to unwind and enjoy some quality time together. Miguel was a wonderful host and gave us great local tips. On his recommendation, we explored the area on foot and ended up meeting a lovely local family who invited us into their home for an unforgettable dinner. It was 100% authentic Mayan cuisine, prepared with so much love. On our last night, we returned to thank them and were not only treated to another delicious homemade meal, but also invited to celebrate their daughter’s wedding. We truly felt like part of the family. The cenote nearby was a breathtaking and unique experience, and the backyard pool terrace felt like a private oasis—so serene and perfectly designed for relaxation. If you’re looking for peace, authenticity, and a touch of magic, this is the place. Thank you, Miguel, for sharing this special spot with us.

My family and I had a wonderful stay here. The staff had a fire waiting for us when we arrived. The house was clean and quiet. The pool was a great feature, and my three year old had a blast. The food served was simple, tasty, and filling - the workers even brought it to our doorstep to eat. I definitely hope to stay here again and do a local tour! Thank you for hosting us 🙏

A beautiful tourist stop in Yaxunah

Very nice welcome and the activities we were able to do were very interesting. Meeting with local people was very enriching for us. The space was simple but clean. On the other hand, in the morning, we didn't have hot water to shower. In addition, on the evening of our arrival, we had not planned anything to eat because we thought that in this community, it would have been possible to eat. However, we quickly found ourselves alone and there was nothing around to go shopping. Despite this, our short stay went well and we will keep fond memories of our time in Yaxunah. Thank you Orlando, Holga and Alvea for your welcome, your dish cooked underground, your tortillas, your breakfasts..... yes, apart from dinner which was forgotten, we were able to taste some delicious Mayan dishes!

Off grid Mayan Jungle, Rancho Artemis

Very nice secluded and quiet place surrounded by nature, perfect for a nice break on the road. Comfortable beds and awesome hammock experience for the kids. We only needed 2 out of 3 homes and even had the luxury of being able to choose them. Omar is very welcoming, the meals are excellent and very hearty. Alvin is responsive. I recommend it.

My stay at Rancho Artemis was phenomenal, the place has a charm favored by the attention of Omar and his wife. I lived cheerful sunrises, orchestrated by birdsong and scents of a happy nature, and sunsets in peace that announced the opening of the curtain for the glowing nights of brightness show with the stars that have always been accompanying us, and announcing themselves with their light. The food they offered me every day was delicious, fresh, natural and the organic quality of their own garden was perceived, in addition to the fact that the service of Omar and his wife was always punctual and kind. It should be noted that the portions are generous, to the extent that a single order could perform for two intakes. Thank you very much in general for having this lovely place that I wish to return to soon.
