Come and enjoy the beautiful Drenthe. Discover the Dwingelderveld, cycle through the Reestdal or visit one of the picturesque villages nearby. You can safely store your bicycles in our garage, and for short rides, we have loan bicycles for you. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance. We are looking forward to your arrival!

The Front House of our national monumental farmhouse has been renovated into a full luxury suite with its own amenities. The original details, such as the high ceilings, the bedstee walls and even an original bedstee you can sleep in, have been preserved. No less than 65m2 with its own kitchen, spacious living room and separate bedroom with freestanding bath. Toilet and spacious walk-in shower. With the option to use the hot tub, sauna and outdoor shower at an additional cost, you can relax wonderfully.

(8-16 personen) Dit vrijstaande Herenhuis uit 1935 bevindt zich midden in het centrum van Emmen op slechts enkele minuten lopen van uitgaan, station, bos, Wildlands en het Rensenpark. Er is ruime (gratis!) parkeergelegenheid. Je huurt de gehele bovenwoning en deel van de onderwoning met eigen keuken, woonkamer, badkamers, wc's en fijne tuin. Space in a beautiful location under a thatched roof, equipped with all the luxuries. Come and stay with us in the front of the farm. We rent out two bedrooms equipped with new box spring beds. In addition to the new bathroom, you will find a lovely sauna. The rooms and living space (>60m2) have separately adjustable air conditioners. Cot and chair on request. You can prepare your own breakfast in the kitchen. Recently, all beds have been replaced, bathroom renovated and garden renovated.

Thor Heste Guesthouse

Our guest house with original old elements, is located in Gees in a centuries-old sheepfold that belongs to our farm from 1748. It is a double guest room with living area and kitchen, a spacious bedroom and a bathroom. Through the garden doors you have access to the private terrace. Directly from the accommodation there are plenty of hiking and cycling opportunities in the beautiful nature around Gees. A walk through the centuries-old village with its Saxon farms is also recommended.

Our cozy back house has a fresh, contemporary look. On the ground floor, there is a room, kitchen, bathroom with toilet. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, one of which has a double bed. All beds have M-line mattresses. It is located in our farmhouse where we live with our dear Labrador Saar. On the farm, we have two donkeys and chickens. There is a garden with various seating areas, including one with a fireplace and views of the countryside.
