An ancient stone archway frames a view of a historic castle ruin. A path meanders through lush green grass leading toward the weathered stone walls. Overcast skies create a soft light, enhancing the texture of the stonework and the surrounding landscape.

Castle House Apartment 2 Georgian town house

CarolRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What a wonderful place to stay at whilst in Chepstow! Kate was an excellent host, so friendly and helpful that I felt at home as soon as I arrived. The flat is perfectly situated being very convenient for the shops, supermarket, bus and railway station but in a peaceful historic street. The castle, museum and beautiful riverside are all just a very short stroll away. A bonus was being able to see the castle from the living room window! The apartment is extremely comfortable and pristinely clean. The bed is very comfortable and I had a great nights sleep. Kate has equipped the accommodation to a very high standard with many thoughful extra touches. The tea, milk and welshcakes on arrival were a lovely surprise! I would certainly throughly recommend the apartment to others and would love to return again one day. Thank you Kate.

Reddings Retreat Burrow Shepherds Hut Tintern AONB

AshleighRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful shepherds hut in the middle of the welsh countryside. Beautiful dramatic surroundings where we took advantage of the local walks. Location was perfect as it felt remote and quiet enough to feel like a real escape from reality but if we needed to pop to a shop or out for a drink in the evening these were only a short distance drive away. We bumped into Robert on his tractor Saturday morning and he greeted us with a warm welcome and gave us some recommendations on things to see and do in the local area which was appreciated. Thank-you so much for having us 😊 we hope to be back again soon!

The exterior of the stone cottage is presented with a sloped roof, framed by well-maintained greenery. A pathway of smooth stone tiles leads to bifold doors that open into the living space. Even lighting from sconces highlights the entrance, set against a backdrop of a cloudy sky.
