Guesthouse vacation rentals in Ticino

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub am Orta See, ein idealer Ort um in toller Umgebung abzuschalten und zu genießen. Der Empfang vom Eigentümer Signore Tarsis war sehr herzlich und freundlich. Wir haben seine umsichtige Betreuung und unsere Gespräche sehr genossen. Das Haus entsprach vollumfänglich dem Inserat und war eine perfekte Herberge. Wir saßen abends mit Blick auf den beindruckenden Palazzo und den See. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder ! Vielen Dank

All worth it just for the view alone. And close by Zermatt with public transport options directly outside. The hotel also had a very homey feeling that reminded me of cabin in the Appalachians. The only downside is the restaurant availability in the village. But there is a kitchen and also places to eat at the bottom of the mountain. So planning ahead makes this a non-issue.

Claude en zijn partner ontvingen ons zeer vriendelijk, waardoor we ons direct thuis voelden. Ze waren altijd beschikbaar indien nodig. Het knusse huisje was ruim, schoon en had alles wat we nodig hadden voor een comfortabel verblijf. Het terras en de tuin boden een heerlijke plek om te ontspannen in alle rust. De ligging is perfect: rustig en omgeven door natuur, maar toch dicht bij alles wat de regio te bieden heeft, van mooie wijngaarden tot mooie dorpjes en culinaire adresjes. Kortom, een aanrader voor wie rust en verkenning wil combineren!

Die Unterkunft und die Kommunikation war super. Wir haben die Gastgeber auch noch kurz kennengelernt, was den ersten Eindruck der Unterkunft und von ihnen bestätigte. Wir können die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen und würden sie auch sofort wieder buchen. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und der Wohnraum und die Schlafzimmer sind sehr grosszügig. Zudem gibt es mehrere Sitz- und Verweilmöglichkeiten im Aussenbereich. Die Lage und die Aussicht ist perfekt

Es war eine sehr schöne Unterkunft. Direkt am See, sogar mit Blick auf den See. Auch wenn das Zimmer nicht super modern war, war es total gepflegt und sauber. Die Leitungen des Hauses scheinen nicht so gut isoliert zu sein, man hört jede Spülung oder Dusche, uns hat das allerdings nicht gestört. Zum nächsten Städtchen sind es 15-20 Min zu Fuß, dass war in Ordnung. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

This place is great!

A wonderful place. The surroundings were amazing. Very convivial organised and clean. Acoustics are not great but it is doable as long visitors respect the rules. Unfortunately, we had very noisy neighbours. In all, a great experience!!

C’est une très belle auberge dans la montagne. On y accède par bus et l’arrêt est juste devant l’auberge ! L’endroit est propre et les lits sont confortables. La décoration est jolie. La cuisine est très bien équipée et nous avons accès à un frigo. Michael est accueillant et de bon conseil. Vous pourrez également avoir accès aux transports gratuits ce qui est extrêmement pratique. Je vous recommande cette auberge, j’y ai passé un agréable séjour !

I booked this villa without knowing where is it. It ended up a huge surprise. The single room is cozy with nice view, the garden is amazing with the view of the valley. It is the 1st time I slept in the afternoon during my travel, under a tree. Not many people during my stay which is great. It would be nicer if the temperature is higher so you can stay in the garden longer.

Easy and fast self check-in, spacious and convenient parking lot, clean and spacious rooms, spacious and convenient common areas, various restaurants and supermarkets around, great prices. Perfect place to stay.

Everything perfect! Michael is very helpful host. My short stay and my need to find relax/activity time was fulfilled. Totally recommend - will come back for sure!

Tolle Unterkunft. Empfehle die Unterkunft Villa Edera gerne weiter. Michael ist ein herzlicher, freundlicher Gastgeber. Ich habe mich wohl gefühlt. Es ist sehr sauber, die Räume sind wie auf den Bildern. Ich komme gerne wieder auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt. Vielen Dank.

Very good value for money. Easy connection to Milan ( cheap tickets ). Walking distance from the station . Giovanni wrote very clear instructions. Would recommend anytime

Nice place, just like in the pictures. Clean, quiet, and everything worked well. Communication was smooth and check-in was easy. Good experience overall!
