We had a wonderful holiday at Orta Lake, an ideal place to unwind and enjoy in great surroundings. The welcome from the owner Signore Tarsis was very warm and friendly. We really enjoyed his prudent care and our conversations. The house fully corresponded to the listing and was a perfect hostel. We sat in the evening overlooking the impressive palazzo and the lake. We will be happy to come back ! Thank you

All worth it just for the view alone. And close by Zermatt with public transport options directly outside. The hotel also had a very homey feeling that reminded me of cabin in the Appalachians. The only downside is the restaurant availability in the village. But there is a kitchen and also places to eat at the bottom of the mountain. So planning ahead makes this a non-issue.

The house is a amazing, spacious, you will have everything you need. Quite place and beautiful surroundings. Donatella was super welcoming, she gave us a tour with all necessary details, she even baked us a cake ☺️ Perfect host, perfect place.

Claude and his partner received us very kindly, making us feel right at home. They were always available if needed. The cozy cottage was spacious, clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The terrace and garden offered a lovely place to relax in peace. The location is perfect: quiet and surrounded by nature, yet close to everything the region has to offer, from beautiful vineyards to beautiful villages and culinary addresses. In short, recommended for those who want to combine peace and exploration!

The place and communication were great. We also met the hosts briefly, which confirmed the first impression of the accommodation and of them. We can only recommend the place and would also book it again immediately. The kitchen is very well equipped and the living room and bedrooms are very spacious. There are also several seating and lingering options outdoors. The location and views are perfect

It was a very nice place to stay. Right on the lake, even overlooking the lake. Even though the room was not super modern, it was totally well maintained and clean. The pipes of the house don't seem to be so well insulated, you can hear every flush or shower, but that didn't bother us. The nearest town is a 15-20 min walk, which was fine. We were very pleased.

Michael was a wonderful host, and gave thoughtful recommendations about things to do in the area. He has been very kind and accommodating, and the hostel is clean and well maintained, peaceful, and inviting. The area is gorgeous; I’ve really enjoyed my time here!

I booked this villa without knowing where is it. It ended up a huge surprise. The single room is cozy with nice view, the garden is amazing with the view of the valley. It is the 1st time I slept in the afternoon during my travel, under a tree. Not many people during my stay which is great. It would be nicer if the temperature is higher so you can stay in the garden longer.

Easy and fast self check-in, spacious and convenient parking lot, clean and spacious rooms, spacious and convenient common areas, various restaurants and supermarkets around, great prices. Perfect place to stay.
