Very welcoming homestay, very clean, even got me medicine cause I got sick riding in the rain. Walking distance to the good food, but the air conditioner took a while to cool down the room. Really nice tea and kettle and water was included too.

Our stay at Hoi Tran's place was comfortable, clean, welcoming, and exactly what we were looking for on a one-night layover during our travels between Ha Long Bay and Hanoi. The room on the third floor was well air-conditioned, had soft and comfy bedding, and a firm mattress (with a topper!), and the larger shower room was also nice. Despite language barriers, Hoi Tran was very warm when we arrived and throughout our stay, offering us iced water and fruits at every chance! The Airbnb is close to the river where you can find a number of beer/smoothie/dessert shops and restaurants open until late at night, or just enjoy a stroll through a slice of life in Haiphong. Highly recommend getting grilled oysters at the seafood stalls under the bridge near the Airbnb!
