This isn't safe for toddlers (stream with a steep rocky bank and a narrow bridge without a railing). It's perfect for nature lovers. Enjoy hiking from the cabin or drive to close-by trails. Lake George (actual lake) is 1/4 mile away. The village with public beaches (and bathhouse) is a 10 min drive.

Rustic Tiny Cabin

This tiny, magical, rustic, cabin is situated overlooking a large pond on a private property of 200+ acres. Though the cabin is very small (about 10x12 ft with an upstairs sleeping loft) it is quaint and lovingly made with hand split cedar shingles and locally harvested wood. There is an outhouse and no power/running water, but a 5 gallon cooler of spring-fed drinking water is provided.

Our Johnsburg Streamside cabin is peacefully located on beautiful Mill Creek at the beginning of a dead end country road . The deck overlooks Mill Creek, a lazy hammock, a fire pit, as well as a large field across the road with mountains in the background. On early mornings and evenings, deer can often be seen grazing in the field!
