Great apartment for outdoor activities newly renovated

We offer a furnished convenient 1-bedroom apartment for 1-2 people south of the Thuringian Forest. Our apartment is very comfortable and also has underfloor heating and Wi-Fi. The room is suitable for relaxing, sleeping and working. It has a cozy couch for up to 2 people. The kitchen has a rustic flair with a small table and two chairs. To the bathroom belongs a new shower, sink and a toilet. In the summer-time you can also use the terrace to enjoy the sun just outside of the apartement. In summer, you can explore countless trails in the Thuringian Forest. Unwind and enjoy in surrounding traditional pubs with traditional Thuringian and Franconian cuisine. In winter, there are many cross-country ski and skating trails. You can practice your winter sports actively or just take a relaxing walk in fresh and crispy winter air. For Cross-country skiers there is a variety of difficulties available, from simple to challenging trails. For skiers and snowboarders nearby slopes also rank from simple to challenging. At ski arena Silbersattel in Steinach, only 15 minutes drive from us, you can get the kick out of winter sports, even if you are just beginner. The area further offers the residence of Coburg (Bavaria), the Upper Main-Therme Bad Staffelstein (Bavaria) and the Meiningen Theater which are all worth a visit. Since we live next door to the apartment and are very familiar with the area, we also give you information about outdoor activities and other attractions in the area. An unobstructed view of nature at the upper edge of the village of Gersfeld OT Sandberg on a south slope at about 600 m above sea level invites you to linger. Whether spring, summer, fall or winter, it can accommodate up to 8 discerning guests.

Apartment in the middle of the old town

My apartment is about 35 square meters in the middle of the old town on the first floor in a backyard, so usually very quiet in the evening. Close to art and culture ,restaurants, and shopping. We are in the pedestrian zone, therefore there is no parking directly at the house, but the parking garage at the cathedral square is only about 300 meters away on foot. Please understand that smoking is prohibited in the apartment, in the backyard there is a kl garden where you can enjoy that in the fresh air

Süßes kleines Häuschen in idyllischer, ruhiger Waldrandlage auf Gartengrundstück. Toller Panoramaausblick ins Tal über Fichtelberg-Neubau. In unmittelbarer Nähe zu Fichtelsee und Naabquelle der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Mountainbike-Touren. Im Winter führt der Loipeneinstieg in nächster Nähe vorbei. Durch die Lage auf 800 m ü.d.M. ist es relativ schneesicher. Bei Schnee ist die Zufahrt direkt zum Haus nicht gewährleistet, je nach Straßenzustand muß 500m entfernt geparkt werden.

The vacation home is quietly located, without through traffic, directly on the edge of the forest, with a nice hiking trail. In the area, there are cycling and excursions to sights (e.g. Gold Museum, Rauenstein Castle Ruins, and much more). For children there are great highlights here: In the vacation home itself a huge playroom, in Sonneberg the Exotarium, toy museum, toboggan runs, ski slopes and much more... Also suitable for ski fans! There are great slopes in the area.

Pure nature in the Fichtel Mountains

Our place is absolutely quiet. In just a few steps you are in nature. It is ideally suited for 2 adults and 2-3 children. The large garden with a stream is ideal for children. In the immediate vicinity are cross-country ski trails (floodlit) and the biathlon stadium with roller ski track and ski lift, toboggan run, mountain bike trails and hiking trails. Lake Fichtelsee is a 20-minute walk away. Please request a child discount!

The climatic health resort of Masserberg as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve is the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Hiking, cycling and cross-country trails are right outside the front door.

I was with my sons for a short vacation in the Fichtelgebirge and we all enjoyed it very much. The beautiful, old house with the lovingly furnished apartment is very quiet, but by car we could easily reach all our destinations within a few minutes. The apartment was very clean, very cozy and there was everything we needed. The house also has a beautiful garden that invites you to linger. We felt very comfortable right away. Communication with the hosts was very friendly and uncomplicated Questions were answered within minutes. We were completely satisfied! Thank you!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We were very very satisfied with the apartment- it was so lovingly furnished for us, and also extremely well equipped for our 2-year-old with additional things (crib, high chair, dinnerware, towels for babies, welcome gift)... The hosts are always reachable and super nice and give wonderful tips for exploring the Fichtelgebirge...

I was apparently one of the first guests in this apartment, and I had a wonderful stay! Everything was very clean, lovingly furnished and well equipped – there was really nothing missing. The location was central, perfect for trips in the area. Everything within walking distance. I especially liked the balcony. I'd love to come back and highly recommend the place!

We (family of 5) already stayed in the spruce cottage for the second time and felt very comfortable again. The apartment is very lovingly furnished, clean and the location is simply fantastic. It is totally quiet and for the children a paradise with the surrounding forests. There is everything you need in the apartment! The communication with Susan, the host is great and it is a big concern for her that we felt comfortable as guests. We will be happy to come back! :-)

We have been to many apartments but this is the best equipped apartment so far (supplies, drinks box, among other things to taste regional beers, kitchen equipment, toys ...). We immediately felt comfortable and explored the beautiful Fichtel Mountains from here. We were among others: - on the Ochsenkopf via the Wismainwanderweg hiking trail - in the rock labyrinth Luisenburg + Burgsteinfelsen and Haberstein - Gleissinger Fels mine - Epprechtstein Quarry Circular Trail - Waldhaus Mehlmeisel Wildlife Park - Steinwald with Weißenstein Castle Ruins and Upper Palatinate Tower What we particularly liked is the nearby Fichtelsee with wonderful paths, playground, barefoot sensory path, boat rental... In a few years, we will definitely visit the Fichtel Mountains again, and will gladly return to this great apartment.
