A stone bridge with a graceful arch spans a flowing stream, surrounded by lush greenery and rocky terrain. Gentle water cascades over the stones, creating a serene atmosphere under a partly cloudy sky.

The Snug, cosy cottage Cumbria/Lake District!

We’d had a great stay at Becky’s place. Everything was as described and we directly felt at home. We explored the beautiful surroundings, did several hikes and felt really comfy back at Becky’s place putting a fire on. We would recommend staying at Becky’s.

Fabulous stay in a lovely, clean accommodation. The bed was sooo comfortable. Parking was easy and lots to do within a 15 minute drive of the location. Michelle was always really responsive and friendly. Thanks for a lovely stay. We hope to return.

The Loft - our cosy countryside retreat

MichaelRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Perfect getaway for a few days, delightful hosts. A self-contained annexe, part of a farmhouse in a very peaceful location with impressive views. Not hard to find, thanks to clear directions from Ryan. It's a very quiet area but only about 30min in various directions to Caldbeck, Cockermouth, the Solway Firth and Carlisle so it made a good base for touring the region. Spacious living room and bedroom, very neat and clean, a walk-in shower room downstairs with kitchenette (air fryer, microwave, plug-in mini-hob).
A compact two-seat sofa is situated against a wall, featuring light-colored fabric and two decorative cushions with floral patterns. Natural light filters through the nearby window, which is adorned with wooden blinds.

Cosy Cottage - Ideal for North Lakes/Solway Coast

RachelRating, 5 stars21 months ago
Great little cottage. Local pub 5 mins walk away that doesn't serve food but you can get a beer and have a game of pool. There is a pub 5 min drive away that did great home cooked food. The cottage is a drive away from everything so as long as you dont mind that then it is the perfect little cottage. The cottage was very thoughtfully stocked up of everything which was very nice. Liked the bar idea where you just replace with something similar too. Thanks for a lovely stay :)

Fieldside View 2 on the edge of the Lake District

CandiceRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Donna’s place is beautiful. As soon as I arrived I felt at home, the place is super cosy with everything I needed. The bed is comfortable, shower is hot, there’s also a fire and heaters to stay warm. The views of the sheep in the field are so beautiful. I’d love to return in future.
A wood-burning stove is positioned against a stone wall, with flames visible through the glass door. A stack of firewood is neatly arranged beside the stove. A bottle of whisky sits on the floor next to two small glasses, with a candle providing soft light nearby.

Rose Cottage, cosy village hideout

LeeRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Great hosts, made to feel instantly welcome and on hand for any questions. Flexible, relaxed and informative. The house is beautifully furnished, has everything needed for a relaxing night in after exploring the lakes or has a perfectly located local pub a few minutes walk if fancy a few drinks. Great base for exploring the lakes whilst missing the crowds of some the more popular towns Really cosy house, will definitely be back.

A serene view of a lake is framed by lush greenery and gentle mountains. A single tree stands along the water's edge, contributing to the tranquil landscape. The sky is partly cloudy, casting soft shadows over the surrounding hills and reflecting on the water's surface.
