There is a daily bus service to Banbury and Daventry and from Banbury there is a train service for Oxford, London and Birmingham. Shakspeare's Stratford Upon Avon, Cropredy Festival and Silverstone are a short drive away. There is a plaque on the village hall to commemorate singer/songwriter Sandy Denny from the band Fairport Convention.

Escape to the country and relax - only 1h30 from London! Wonderful walks straight from the doorstep. Perfect for weekend breaks and exploring the Cotswolds, Oxford, Stratford, Warwick and Bicester Village. Large two storey, light and bright open plan ex-granary with living space on the first floor overlooking our garden. Entirely self-contained unit in a very quiet location on the edge of the village. The Granary forms one side of a courtyard and we live in the farmhouse on another side.

We are around 3 miles from Brackley a local market town which offers, supermarkets, banks, restaurants, takeaways etc. We are approx. 2 miles from Aynho Park and the Great Barn at Aynho - fantastic Wedding venues. We are 15 mins from Silverstone.

Chris was a great host and responded to all my queries really quickly and helpfully! The property is in a lovely, quiet spot.

We had the most wonderful stay at the Mirror Houses in Oxford. From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful, welcoming, and beautifully thought-out. The cabin itself is stunning — immaculately clean, stylish, and so cosy, with everything we needed and more. The hot tub was a real highlight, especially in the evenings when we could unwind and take in the surroundings. Lucy was an exceptional host — warm, thoughtful, and incredibly helpful throughout. Travelling with our 9-week-old baby, we were a little nervous, but Lucy went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Her kindness and attention to detail genuinely made our stay feel special and memorable. We left feeling relaxed, grateful, and already talking about when we might come back. A perfect little retreat — we couldn’t recommend it more

We had a lovely stay in this cottage. It had a homely comfortable feel and is exactly as described. The hosts are super nice and responsive and able to pop in if needed. Helmdon is postcard beautiful and extremely peaceful. I would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Sally and Neil were first class super hosts 🤩. The converted barn was beautiful with amazing views. Spotlessly clean, very comfy beds with lovely bedding, great showers and all very well equipped. Sally went out of her way to help us when needed and even provided a welcome basket with essentials and milk in the fridge. Also made us some lovely lemon cake. Thank you so much for the time we spent there. Plenty of historic places within. 15 miles or less to visit, and beautiful Cotswold villages not far away. Plenty of local and large shops in just a few miles.
