Family-friendly vacation rentals in The Villages

Jennifers place was even better than the photos. She really thought of everything. My family enjoyed our stay tremendously and highly recommend staying there.

I would absolutely stay here again. The neighborhood was quiet and near downtown. The house was clean and had a warm feel to it. The host was always very helpful and responsive.

My family and I are very pleased with our experience at the rental house hosted by Gino. From my initial inquiry in March to departure date in December 2024, Gino has performed above and beyond my expectations. Gino was extremely responsive to my every question or concern throughout the rental process. His co-host Jewel was also very responsive and helpful. Gino was very pleasant, accommodating and flexible. I also enjoyed his sense of humor! Gino gave me 2 detailed tours of the house. December. The house was very clean and tidy. He provided everything that any guest could ever need or want – multiple appliances, bathroom/ kitchen supplies, wi-fi, etc. He was very detailed in his instructions that enabled the guests to take the best advantage of the house amenities. The “House Manual” provided was excellent with detailed and important information. I highly recommend this house for large groups. The location is also close to restaurants and shopping. I came to stay here with eleven other family members for a wedding in the area. We were all able to stay together in one place at a lovely and peaceful location. The kitchen is huge for cooking a big family meal. The pool was very clean and fun for the warm days, while the fire pit was nice for the colder nights. The hot tub was amazing! All the rooms were unique and had their own personalities like my family members. Brantley and Anne were very friendly and helpful during our stay. I couldn’t have picked a better place and would love to come back in the future!

My family of 7 felt right at home at the Taylor lake house. This place has it all! When I tell you this place is fully stocked. So many little extras they did to go above about beyond ! The hot tub was a hit among the group. The dock is so peaceful and serene. We brought the pontoon boat for fishing. The kids loved every minute on the beach. Plus the kayaks were a blast! I enjoyed the stay. Highly recommend this for anyone wanting a private getaway.

Great place and beautiful view. The house, was perfect for the family. Plenty of space especially with young grandchildren.

My husband and I were in need of a quick getaway. We found Donna's place and knew this was exactly what we were looking for. It was in close proximity of Rainbow Springs (where we wanted to visit) and was pet friendly. The house was clean (all hardwood/tile flooring), spacious (open floor plan), nicely decorated, furniture in great condition & comfortable, fenced in yard for the pups, on the river, and had everything we needed! We enjoyed the quiet evenings out back on the deck & in the screened in porch and the pups loved exploring the yard. We cooked breakfast & lunch at the home and explored the town for dinner. We did not get to use the kayaks or bikes but loved that they were available. Donna answered all my questions and was very accommodating to my dates. I would definitely book this home again and recommend to others! Thank you!

Dixie’s place is awesome! My family stayed for a few days during the holidays and the neighborhood is beautiful. Walking distance from the park and very cozy, with friendly neighbors and nice amenities. I definitely recommend it if you’re staying in the Leesburg area!

Great location, super private, pet friendly would definitely rent again!! Went for my daughters birthday, location was minutes away from rainbow springs. Lots of outdoor space for the kids to play football and tons of area for the dogs to roam. Post was very responsive and very helpful. We would definitely return again!

Lovely older home in a nice neighborhood. My business partner lives in an older home and she felt like she was at home. Beds were very comfortable. The bathtub and shower was great. Nice big backyard for my dog. Would gladly stay here again.

Very nice home, located within 20 minutes to the springs, hiking, and restaurants. We loved the seclusion, the home’s architecture, and the detached BBQ screened-in shelter. The large backyard is great for the activities they provide (cornhole, mini soccer, and tree swinging). We were there in the summer but the water level in the back was too shallow to launch the canoes but that’s no problem with tons of local kayaking options. The house is on a 12-minute drive dirt road that can be difficult to find at night. Also, the house does not have any cell reception but the house has ok WiFi speeds to stream movies and use FaceTime (voice); that’s the price to be in seclusion, peace, and nature. Check in and out were a breeze and the indoor amenities are nice. We recommend this home for a nice getaway.

Paul is a Superhost! His home is so comfortable and the three bedrooms and 2.5 baths are great! As is the screened-in sunroom. He is very attentive and answers any questions or concerns promptly. It's a beautiful, safe neighborhood and so convenient to grocery and liquor stores and the downtown scene. You will not be disappointed!

Ida's place was great, very comfortable accommodations and in a very peaceful and serene neighborhood. Ida is a very attentive host as she reached out before our arrival and asked if we needed a sleeper couch or cot setup since there were 5 in our party. She is also quick to respond to communications. Would definitely stay at the Lake house again.

Elizabeth was so very kind to accommodate my family to have a comfortable and safe place to ride out Hurricane Milton as were already in the area and not able to return home due to the storm. She went out of her way for us last minute and we are very thankful and appreciative for her generosity and for sharing her beautiful home with us in a time of need.

Very nice house. Had to stay there for work and it was a perfect spot. Very beautiful location with a nice pool. The house itself was nice and clean. I look forward to staying there again soon.

Susan and Jerry were outstanding hosts, they were responsive, proactive and always available to us! The home was perfect for our family of 6, our kids loved thier place and already want to go back. The home was clean, clutter free and well kept. Everything in the home works and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Susan and Jerry left us all the passes and information needed to navigate The Villages. We are beyond Blessed to have them as hosts and enjoyed thier property during our stay. We will definitely be Air BnB'ing with them for future visits to The Villages.

Joan is awesome, very responsive. This was our first time staying in an Airbnb. She made it a great experience and she has a lovely place. Do not pass up a chance staying here!

Roy left us a binder at the house with perfectly detailed instructions. The house was immaculate. We had no questions and everything was perfect. We can’t wait to go back.

Let's get the negative out of the way. Communication was slow so I'm not sure how things would go if you needed something urgently. Outside of that, Michael was easy to work with, very flexible, he allowed us to check in at 2:30am because of our flight arrival time, which was greatly appreciated. The house isn't where you want to hangout when you are in The Villages so, you have what you need and more to eat, sleep, and relax briefly before going get to bed. Otherwise you are out and about enjoying all the activities and beauty of The Villages. You are minutes from Brownwood Paddock Square, and several different regional centers. This home is perfect if you want affordability and to enjoy The Villages and all it has to offer!

Lovely clean comfortable home. The pool is huge, clean and amazing. In the morning birds sing to wake you up. Our favorite thing was watching the antics of the sand hill cranes which are everywhere. The town of Inverness had an amazing park where you can walk boardwalks and see alligators. The hosts are kind and helpful but also respect your privacy. I would definitely go there again.
