Vacation rentals with breakfast in The Solent

We stayed at Julia's while house hunting. Really enjoyed our stay, particularly the view from the lounge of the deer and assorted wildlife. The provision of a stocked fridge and a welcome cake were much appreciated.

We enjoyed our stay at Andy & Rosie's thanks to the great location and beautiful surroundings. We used it as a base for Goodwood, which was a short drive away. The local golf club being so close was also a bonus. The accommodation itself was well furnished and spacious and check in was made simple with the clear instructions and Andy's welcoming greeting on arrival.

I had a wonderful weekend at the secret garden. The annexe is exactly as described and was so comfortable, well stocked and homely, not to mention very dog friendly! I absolutely loved it, and would definitely book again!

Absolutely beautiful home within a home. Shame it was for just one night as the place warranted staying longer. lovely furnishings, comfortable bed. Loved the fact that the fridge was stocked. And tea and coffee available. Extremely clean and welcoming, great that we could watch prime and Netflix, it was my friend and my yearly stay away, to de-stress, and that's what we did. Ich habe mich direkt äußerst Willkommen gefühlt. Michele's Unterkunft ist eine, die durch kleine herzliche Details aus vielen heraussticht. Schon beim Betreten der Unterkunft war für mich spürbar, wie gern Michele Gastgeberin ist. Es war alles mit viel Liebe hergerichtet: frische Blumen auf dem Tisch, eine personalisierte Begrüßung an der Tafel, ein paar zurecht gestellte Frühstückscerealien (inklusive Milch, bei der ich im Vorfeld Wünsche äußern durfte). Die Unterkunft selbst empfinde ich als noch schöner als sie auf den Fotos wirkt. Schöne Größe, tolle Raumaufteilung, man könnte direkt einziehen. 😉 Michele kam vorbei, um mich persönlich zu begrüßen und mir eventuelle Fragen zu beantworten. Der Check-in war komplett flexibel möglich. Das Bett war total gemütlich. Obwohl das Häuschen im Garten der Gastgeber steht und vielleicht auch mal einer der beiden daran vorbei huscht, hat man seine Ruhe und Privatsphäre. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen, denn es war rundum perfekt!!

What a wonderful place to stay! Location The location is amazing. Peaceful and tranquil but only a short walk along the beautiful woodland & watercress beds/ river to the town which has an amazing play park, soft play, cafes, shops and restaurants. Lovely country pub the Titchborne Arms just a short drive away. Sleep/ bedrooms So peaceful and tranquil. Very high quality mattresses and linen. Had a wonderful sleep. Amenities/ added extra We felt they were very generous for the price point. Nice welcome items milk, coffee pods, good salt, tea, granola etc. loads of shower gel, shampoo. Great to have a coffee machine and smart TV. Also Hosts were very warm & approachable but not intrusive. The barn was very clean and parking was really easy. It has a shower and bath, very soft towels. All in all a great stay!

Mari is an excellent host; Friendly and communicative and available for any help needed. We stayed with our 19 month old daughter and Mari had everything set up for our stay. The home is lovely. Really comfy and welcoming. Mari was extremely helpful checking beforehand of anything we might need. The home is nested away at the end of the property and feels very private. Our family had a wondeful time and we would love to stay again in the future.

We had a great stay at Pam's place! It was comfortable, spotlessly clean, in a great location for exploring the local area and very private. The enclosed garden was great - especially as we were travelling with our two dogs - and the welcome pack was indeed very welcome. There was so much to see and do nearby, we struggled to fit it all in on this visit so we'll have to come back! Thank you for having us, Pam :)

Een fijn appartement met alles wat je nodig hebt. Een prachtige badkamer met fijne regendouche en handdouche. Het bed was ook top, we hebben goed geslapen. Het enige om rekening mee te houden is dat je een paar trappen omhoog moet. Vanuit het appartement is het museum The D-Day Story op loopafstand en het bezoeken waard. In 35 minuten lopen ben je bij The Spinnaker Tower en Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. In de buurt van het appartement zijn voldoende restaurants en een supermarkt. Het is een fijne plek om te verblijven. Wij hebben genoten.

We had a lovely stay at Diana’s and would definitely stay again. Nothing was too much trouble, Hythe village is walkable and the apartment was lovely - extremely well appointed and even better than the photos.

Brian is the perfect host and his annexe is the perfect place to stay if you want the wonderful beaches without the craziness of Bournmouth. Brian always responded immediately, and was super helpful regarding check in and giving us information about the area. The annex is perfect for a couple, but note that the kitchen and living room area is on the first floor. Everything you could possibly need was provided, including bread and croisant, milk, tea, coffee, etc. The area was quiet and about a 5 minute walk to the beach, though a bit of a climb up. We had bikes and riding along the coast was wonderful. Thank you Brian, and hope to stay with you again soon!

Our stay at Eileen’s apartment was simply perfect. It exceeded all our expectations-spotlessly clean, beautifully cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. We instantly felt at home. The highlight was the stunning sea view, visible from three of the windows. We could not have asked for a better place to stay.

Our 2nd stay at Johns place and again it was excellent! We love this flat! Clean and bright. Great hot shower and comfy bed. Bonus having breakfast supplies provided and delicious lemon drizzle cake. Great location, close to the seafront and pier and the bus is handy. We’ll be back!!

This was my second stay of 4 weeks, after a previous one last September. It's still comfortable and peaceful. Jane is always friendly and helpful.

We had a great stay at Julia & Steve’s place, they were excellent hosts and they have a beautiful home. Apart from being very welcoming, friendly & offering great recommendations, they also went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay - checking dietary requirements, storing our bicycles & even putting up birthday bunting for my partners birthday. The included breakfasts were also a strong highlight as well as meeting their dogs & horse - would highly recommend staying here!

Jane was extremely welcoming and pleasant. She was very attentive throughout the stay and always checked if everything was OK. The location was fantastic - just a few hundred metres from the cathedral and with the added bonus of parking very close to the cabin. The property is small as described but it's ideal for a short stay.

This stay was really outstanding for the beautiful English garden, so well maintained, so peaceful. Kate and Mark are friendly, welcoming and super helpful. Their historical home has been well maintained and updated. Very cozy and comfortable. For Jane Austen fans, the location cannot be better, one really walks in her footsteps. Highly recommended!

We felt like coming home. We enjoyed the beautiful garden and the wonderful equipped living- room and dining area. The breakfast was great and the tips for Restaurants etc. very helpful. Our dog was welcome, too. We definitely recommand These wonderful quiet place.

Lucy was extremely hospitable & thoughtful ! The fridge in my room has crumpets inside !! Cute ! A bowl of little varied chocolates, one of fruit & cutlery , a breakfast bowl , kettle : tea , coffee , hot chocolate and more , she thought of everything , and even had some toiletries incl shampoo & conditioner.. my room has its own showroom / toilet 👍🏼 Very communicative , friendly , helpful and happy for you to enjoy her garden and home ! Will def stay again if I return ! Plus Sassy her fluffy grey cat is a bonus ! Thanks L! 🪷

Venetia isn’t just a great host, she’s a genuinely lovely person. Her home feels both welcoming and a bit like a royal retreat: super comfortable, beautifully decorated, and full of thoughtful little details. The garden is absolutely magical. I’m already looking forward to my next trip to Chichester and staying at Venetia’s again, it’ll feel like visiting a good friend.

Amy and Ian were all around fantastic hosts. Their place was lovely and is situated in a splendid location inside the new forest National park. There is fantastic walks right on their doorstep as well as a lovely pub just a 10 minute walk away. We also did the extra animal experience which was lots of fun and would highly recommend to anyone staying here. This is an absolute gem of an air b and b. Thanks Amy and Ian!

I had a fantastic stay at this beautiful accommodation in Southampton. The property overlooks a lovely bowling green, which made for such a relaxing view — it was a real treat to sit and watch after work. The room was absolutely spotless, and I especially loved having a separate living space to unwind in, which made it feel like a true home away from home. The hosts were great — welcoming, responsive, and clearly take pride in their place. I’ll definitely be staying again next time I’m in Southampton for work 😊 Highly recommended!
