Miriam's Cottage self contained Bed and Breakfast

This lovely 1920's cottage is located in a quiet tree lined street in the heart of Tanunda. Miriam's is a 5 minute walk to shops and restaurants such as Ferment Asian, 1918, Musque and cafe's. Also walking distance to Langmeil winery, Peter Lehmann, Z Wines etc Breakfast provisions are there for guests to either have a cooked breakfast of bacon, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms or continental breakfast. Included is also a cheese plate and bottle of wine. Firepit only supplied when seasonal.

There was an issue getting the code for the lockbox but Wendy rectified the problem quickly. The location is fantastic!! Lots of wineries walking distance. The room is tidy and spacious. Wendy asked our dietary preferences and supplied us with everything we needed. I would highly recommend.

Honestly, we couldn’t have found a better place- it was perfect for our needs and the host was accommodating- we asked for the king bed to be made into two twins and he didn’t hesitate to accommodate! The house was clean, fresh, the beds were soo comfortable there was beautiful aboriginal art on the walls, brochures and guides for the wineries available, the kitchen was well stocked, … It was one of those places where you feel like you got something very right in your travels. Walking distance to Murray Street. Absolutely perfect.

What an amazing experience, this property is beautiful, in a great spot in Anguston, Jane was a wonderful host and we instantly felt at home. Being in town for Gather Round, this made for a perfect base. not far from Tanunda that had lots of hotels, bakeries and restaurants and close enough to get to Barossa Park for the game after a short drive. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone considering heading to the area and if I head back over to SA I would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at Tanunda House. The location is excellent for a cheeky weekend in the Barossa / Clare, enabling us to spend a day in each with stops in the Adelaide Hills wineries on the way home. Easy walk to some fabulous restaurants in Tanunda, plus everything you need in the kitchen for light meals at home. Bathrooms and bedrooms pristine. A perfect stay for two couples. Thank you Lisa!

Vic and Sandi's cottage was absolutely perfect! One of the best airbnb's I've ever chosen to stay in. The cutest cottage, right in the heart of Tanunda. Such a great location for exploring the Barossa, with cafes, bars and restaurants just a short walk down the road. The cottage itself is quaint and homely. The photos really don't do it justice! It was so quiet and peaceful. Sitting on the back deck, listening to the rain on the verandah, whilst cooking dinner on the bbq after a day touring wineries was so lovely, and they have the comfiest bed I've ever slept in! Could not have asked for better hosts. Such an easy check in, and great communication with them. Would recommend their place to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the Barossa, especially if you still want to be close by to shops and cafes for a morning stroll and a coffee. Would love to come back one day! Thanks so much guys! Becca

Heather provided plenty of extras; breakfasts for every day and the bottle of wine on arrival was a nice touch. We loved the deck area and the tranquility. This is an older homestead that is beautifully maintained. The home has all the facilities you’d expect. Everything is sparkly clean. The two main bedrooms are just lovely with super comfortable beds (the third bedroom is a great kids area). The kitchen is a big family space that is the focal point of the house. We lived like locals and really enjoyed our stay.
