Family-friendly vacation rentals in Thanh Hoa

We were a group of five friends who came to celebrate Christmas. The house is spacious, cozy, and welcoming. The housekeeper greeted us warmly and explained everything we needed to know. It was an amazing experience. We came during a quiet period with no tourists, which made the atmosphere even more peaceful and enjoyable. Maggie was incredibly kind and helpful, assisting us with any issues we encountered. For those who enjoy it, there’s a karaoke setup, which added to the fun. The location isn't as clear as it seems in the app, so it's a good idea to stay in touch with Maggie when getting close to the area. Additionally, Maggie allowed us to check in earlier and check out later, as the train from the area departs late, which was very convenient. The only downside was that the kitchen was slightly unclean, but it was easy to take care of. Overall, we had a wonderful time and highly recommend it!

The homestay is a traditional thai tilt house made by wood. It's basic, mattresses on the floor, but comfy enough to enjoy the experience of living on a traditional house. The host, Cuc, speak English perfectly and she is so helpful. It's perfect if you go on a big group and then you can rent the full house (10-12 people), otherwise I guess you will need to share with other guests or Cuc might arrange a bungalow for you. The facilities are OK and the restaurant serves local home made food. Around the house there are other wood houses with restaurants and it's near an esplanade with food stands and locals having fun, which was very fun to experience as well.

Wir waren fast 3 Wochen auf der Farm. Das Essen war jeden Tag sehr gut und wurde mit frischen Zutaten von der Farm zubereitet. Die herzlichkeit und gastfreundlichkeit der Familie auf der Farm hat uns sehr gefallen und die Interaktion mit den Einheimischen im Ort war eine tolle Erfahrung. Wir können die Unterkunft jedem empfehlen der das authentische Vietnam und dessen Kultur kennenlernen will. Die ruhige Lage und die schöne Natur war für uns perfekt. Wir würden hier wieder übernachten.

Lưu trú với Minh là một trải nghiệm tuyệt vời nhất trong chuyến đi của gia đình tôi. Khu nghỉ nằm trong xóm nhỏ yên bình, mang nét đặc trưng rất riêng biệt của miền quê đồng bằng bắc bộ. Sự tiếp đón nhiệt tình thân thiện cùa gia đình Minh là điều tuyệt vời nhất ở đây, Minh hiểu biết và kiến thức sâu rộng về du lịch địa phương cũng như cho chúng tôi những thông tin bổ ích về văn hoá vùng miền. Vợ anh ấy là một đầu bếp tuyệt vời với những món ăn thuần Việt tươi ngon và đậm vị. Nhất định chúng tôi sẽ sớm quay trở lại vào một ngày không xa & giới thiệu cho bạn bè , người thân khi về đây thăm quan , nghỉ dưỡng . Cám ơn Minh & Gia đình.

Beautiful scenery! Definitely "rustic". A part of the "homestay" meaning constantly able to get meals/recommendations/play with the local pets, but still tons of privacy. thanks so much for the warm welcome!!

We made great friends here and we loved our stay. We were supposed to stay one night only but we got “trapped” and we stayed for 3 total nights and we didn’t want to leave! Location in the jungle is breathtaking, the staff became friends, we felt part of the family. And the food was simply amazing! We stayed in one of the family barbecue dinner organised and met so many interesting people and had fun with the staff in a really spontaneous way. They made some mistakes with the room but they totally made up for it during the stay! Thank you! We will come back.

We have been traveling around Vietnam for a month and this was our last place where we stayed before we were heading back to Europe. It exceeded all our expectations and was our favorite place in all Vietnam. The bungalow was at the very end of the park surrounded by a cute river, mossy cliffs, and frog songs. It is a mesmerizing spot which leaves you feeling like you are staying at a jungle. The huge plus was the hammock on the balcony where we loved to chill in the evenings and listen to jungle sounds. Also, they had an option to rent electric bicycles, which was a fun activity to get around the nearby nature parks. Thank you for this unforgettable stay Trung, we are looking forward to being back one day ❤️

Super environnement, la nature est incroyable et les hôtes sont chaleureux et toujours à l’écoute. C’est un endroit qui en vaut la peine si on aime la nature, les animaux et se balader. Les alentours valent la peine d’être visiter et de surtout s’y perdre en scooter (pas cher et le meilleur paysage) !!! Je recommande!

The home stay is absolutely amazing! Than was always very responsive and accommodated our needs. The location was great, gave us the opportunity to explore the countryside with a motorbike. All meals we had were homemade and delicious. Cannot recommend this place enough 🙂

Zeer mooie locatie met eigen bungalow aan een mooi landhuis en meertje. Zeer rustig gelegen ideaal voor diegene die het stadsleven ontvluchten. Zeer lekker dagelijks ontbijt!!! Ms Le de host is zeet vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze staat steeds klaar voor je. Ik raad het zeker aan

Our stay in Ninh Binh was the rainiest part of our trip by far but Thanh and his family (complete with their wonderful dog Binh) made it one of our favourite places to stay. They made sure we were able to still get out to see some of the best that Ninh Binh has to offer including the hang Mua lookout, trang An, and the bai Dinh pagoda. Thanh is extremely knowledgeable on how to help first time tourists in Vietnam, he even found us a train ticket when the website said there were none left! When we weren’t out exploring, their place was a very relaxing and beautiful place to spend our time! We recommend eating at the homestay, we loved all the delicious meals and they treated us like part of the family. We rocked out some karaoke and probably hurt some ears but we had a blast doing so. Lots of good memories in Ninh Binh, will for sure be coming back!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt bei Thanh und seiner Familie sehr genossen. Obwohl das Homestay etwas abseits von Ninh Binh gelegen ist, sind alle sehenswerten Attraktionen gut zu erreichen. Der Pool ist angenehm, um der Mittagshitze zu entfliehen. Thanh hat uns mit hilfreichen Tipps zur Erkundung der Gegend versorgt. Das Essen vor Wort war abwechslungsreich und lecker. Ein paar gute Restaurants sind ebenfalls zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Gia is a very friendly and accomodating host, very responsive even at odd times, the stay is beautiful and people are very helpful

We chose Thanh’s homestay based upon a previous review. Our family does not usually book an all inclusive package (minus drinks), but this was a last minute trip that we didn’t have time to plan. The previous review stated that the personalized tours from Thanh were excellent… this was the best part of our trip! Thanh and his family put together an off the beaten path tour package, almost free of tourists, with delicious home cooked meals! If you are looking for the true local experience of Ninh Binh province, this is your place! We were comfortable with a lovely small, but refreshing pool, fresh food, and Thanh’s experience in tailoring a tour package and altering it for unpredictable weather and my friends fear of snakes, was beyond our expectations! Thanh created a tour package for us that met our requests of seeing as much as possible, but not feeling rushed. There was plenty of time to relax at the bungalow, take a quick nap, eat and go out exploring again. Don’t hesitate..book!
