Our stay was amazing!!! The rooms were super clean, the bed was comfy, and the surrounding area was beautiful. The staff helped us with everything: arranging taxi’s, arranging tours, etc.. They were really friendly and stayed in contact with us throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend!

Chu was very friendly and responsive. I had a wonderful time with my family at Chu's Stay. She was very welcoming, guided us with bike and taxi bookings, she recommended good places to visit around.

Amazing stay, we had four great days at the homestay. Many things to experience in the area - local villages, hikes, cafes etc. The hosts are very sweet and helpful, and the food is amazing, new local food everyday.

Thuy Linh is a gracious host. Her and her sister run the place in really simple, clean and elegant fashion. Everything was very comfortable and she even helped us with finding a scooter. Even when we ran into some trouble, she was kind enough to handle it by herself. 10/10 would recommend. The breakfast isn't great. However they have a very good alacarte menu that we couldn't try. But opt for that as the prices are quite cheap.

The stay is away from the tourist area, at a quite place, with a great view. The waterfall and bamboo forest are nearby, and you live very close to the homes of villagers which is a unique experience in itself. If you want peace, enjoy nature and experience rural life with a great view of mountains and rice fields, this is the perfect stay for you.

I had such a wonderful time here. Sue was very helpful. I really enjoyed my stay. The food was delicious, the rooms were cosy and the location was beautiful. As listed, the rooms don't have heating, and the weather was cold while I was there, but Sue made sure we had extra blankets and although the room was cold, I slept well. Sue provided some nice recommendations. I also completed half of the Batik workshop with Sue (only half due to my own time constraints) and I really enjoyed this and appreciated the time that she took to share this skill and art with me. I would love to come back for more trekking during some warmer months.

We had a beautiful and peaceful stay at May’s homestay with our two young children. The location is nestled in nature and offers a great escape from the city. May was incredibly warm, responsive, and helpful right from the time of booking—she patiently answered all our questions and made sure we felt welcomed and informed. The food was a highlight for us. We are vegan, and they went the extra mile to accommodate our dietary needs—even preparing delicious egg-free meals for our kids. The herbal bath and tour options looked very interesting, and we appreciated being able to discuss them in person before deciding. The room was cozy and just right for our family, and they provided extra mattresses as requested. A small suggestion for future guests—if you’re coming with a private taxi, make sure your driver has clear directions to the village, as the homestay is a little off the main route. Overall, we had a comfortable, authentic, and memorable experience in Sapa. Highly recommended for
