The communication was excellent; she promptly answered all my questions and provided helpful recommendations. The accommodation itself was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. It had all the amenities I needed, making my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The location was perfect, with easy access to groceries stores and restaurants. I enjoyed exploring the area and appreciated how convenient everything was. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better host or a better place to stay. WOW! We had such an amazing visit in Texarkana! our group was here for a wedding at the Garrison Gardens. which was also fantastic. Guy and his family were absolutely wonderful. Kind, considerate and it literally felt like home to all of us. The decor was so much fun to look at and every room you went into was well thought out for living comfortably. Everyone in our group just loved the back deck and back bar area! It was a place to gather after our long days! We are truly grateful to the family for having us and we will certainly be back to join again. I was born in Texarkana and I will certainly be recommending this place to anyone I know. Thank you again for making this such a special trip for us!

Fantastic stay in the woods! I do recommend bringing bottled water, as the well water has a distinct smell and taste. We loved the fully stocked kitchen.

A cozy cabin located right in the heart of Texarkana. Loved the stay! Easy access to bathrooms and showers.

As traveling tournament bass fishing anglers, we are always looking for clean, comfortable and well appointed accommodations that will also easily allow us to park four to six trucks with boat trailers. Wendy’s “barndominium” fit the bill perfectly! The heated and cooled living quarters were comfortable, clean and fully accommodated our needs. In the large garage potion of the house, the pool table, foosball table and corn hole set kept us busy in the evenings. There is even a nice TV lounge area in the garage! The pool and pool area are also very nice. And of course, there was plenty of parking. If we ever travel back to Texarkana, this AirBnB would be at the top of our list and I highly recommend it to anyone traveling with four or more people. Robert J.

We stayed here one night, and if we were in a longer trip, we would have stayed more. It was my husband, myself, and our two teens and there was ample space for us. The farmhouse was so amazing- we had a blast in the pool, cooking dinner, and enjoying the views. After the sun went down we all watched a movie on the couch (so comfy). Very quiet and peaceful location.

We enjoyed a fantastic one-night stay! Our young kids loved all the animals and the pool! Host was very friendly and helpful! The barn was perfectly clean and had everything we needed. They provided free food to feed the animals, which we loved. We would definitely stay again!

Katie at Colter Farmstead was an absolutely outstanding host! The property is a beautiful, peaceful retreat full of charm and history—originally built in the 1800s, it’s like stepping back in time with all the modern comforts. We loved meeting all the friendly farm animals, which made the stay extra special. The on-site general store was a lovely surprise, stocked with thoughtful, local goods. We absolutely loved this place! The space was BEAUTIFULLY decorated and everything was clean! It was a great space for our crowd. They were very accommodating for our extra guests. The pool was great!! They communicated well and were very responsive and quick! The location is in a neighborhood but the houses are spaced so you felt like you had space!

My husband and I along with our cat came to town for Thanksgiving, the house was perfect for hosting Thanksgiving Dinner and having family members come to us as it was a central location. Connie was so accommodating, friendly and helpful that made our stay easy and fun. Will definitely stay here again when we come to Texarkana to see family and friends!

Wonderful place to stay and would stay again. Only thing to note was due to heavy rains (not the hosts fault clearly) the yard was very very muddy. Which was a bummer as we booked this place excited about the large yard. We still made use of it a bit but it was hard as we had not brought rain boots/rain gear for outdoor play. So if it’s the rainy season bring your gear! Don’t let that keep you from booking though it’s a lovely place just come prepared. Lovely place to stay with all the things you need. Kitchen was easy to use. Bathroom shower has a rain shower which was so fun.

This place is in a quiet neighborhood. Very nice and relaxing.

open design made it feel much bigger than the photos. super quiet neighborhood. loved the range and work space in the kitchen. owner responded quickly. 10/10 would stay here again
