I absolutely love the location the atmosphere and the peace and quiet that was much needed. I give this the highest rating and the host was very responsive and helpful and I appreciate it my weekend very much me and my boys had a fantastic time even with the rain. It was very convenient to be so close to your cabin while trying not to fish in the rain too much. I will definitely be back and I will make sure to book this earlier next time.

A small little cabin with beautiful view of the lake. Nice deck that you can enjoy a glass of wine and see the lake. It is very cozy. It was my husband and son so perfect amount of space for the three of us. We had a nice visit and met the host who lives next door and was super friendly!

Great bungalow with plenty of space including a large garden. I really enjoyed my stay, it has everything you need to live and cook. Very nice decor with great touches. The terrace with the barbecue invites you to cozy gatherings with friends in the evening. I'd love to come back.

The Getaway is the perfect name for this place. We went for me and my husband’s anniversary and it was very relaxing. We didn’t have to worry about anything as they have everything from plates, cups, etc to miscellaneous items you wouldn’t think you may need and they come in handy. We also got lucky to see some deer out in the field! Super exciting. We will be back again for sure.

This place was great! My family and I loved how clean the whole house and pool were. The kids loved the pool! Nice heated pool! Felicia was so fast at replying back, made it so easy to communicate. We would definitely come back here in the summer to enjoy the lake and outdoor activities!

What a lovely visit. The cabin was perfect! Scenery was great in addition to owls and deer. The heated floors and luxury blankets were perfect additions to a great stay. This place was everything I could have wanted and more! I will be back!!!!!

I had a great stay at the hillside hideaway. The cabin is small but cozy and had everything we needed. 10 beds and the best couch ever. I would recommend. Gloria was a great host that reached out to make sure we had everything we needed and found the place alright. Full kitchen to make meals was awsome. My only issue was that the shower water had a tough smell of sulfur, which was unpleasant.

My daughter and I were there to visit over spring break. The room was clean and cozy. We had the opportunity to take a tour and it was a delight! The gal that showed us around was so knowledgeable and other staff we met were all friendly as can be. It’s so peaceful and we just loved it. We’ll definitely visit again. Thank you!

I had an extended stay in Terry's upstairs kitchenette apt. while renovations were being done to my house. I enjoyed the privacy and the easy accessibility to stores and restaurants. The home itself is well with a visit. Terry has collected multiple curios which he has displayed throughout the rooms that create an interesting environment. I really did enjoy my stay there. Terry was a great host I thank him so much!

Our family loved this lake cabin and had a great time swimming, fishing and boating. And actually caught two large mouth bass (grandson’s first caught fish ever)! Bon fires and roasting weenies and making S’mores made forever memories for the grandkids. We were in the area to see the “Big Things” in Casey, IL and lucked out finding this Lake House. We would love to come back and stay longer for more fun and to visit the state parks. Everything was perfect and so comfortable and easy. Becky is a fabulous host. We wouldn’t change a thing. Thanks for sharing

It was perfect for my dog and my needs. Despite being close to the road, it was quiet with little traffic. The accommodations were comfortable and we had a restful stay.

Had trouble with the side door lock was not working the garage door locked but when we went somewhere had to manually shut the garage door then the lock wouldn’t open the garage door. Had to call around 9 pm to get it taken care of Maggie was very helpful all went well the rest of the stay
