Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Terlingua

Home was so beautiful and very clean and cozy! We got to watch the night sky and enjoy the peace and quiet. The beds were super comfortable also! The only downside was the road leading to it was definitely was a pain even in a truck. Be prepared to go off roading, but the house made it worth the drive. The host was very responsive. I thought I left my wallet and got a fast response back and the host even went to check to see if it was there. If you enjoy being outside in nature away from everyone. I recommend this place 100%!

This place was so perfect with so many unique touches. The courtyard was perfect for having morning coffee and watching the sunrise or watching the reverse sunset on the mountains. We loved the little path straight to Espresso Y Poco Mas and the starlight. It was also within easy walking distance of Milky Way treats and the boathouse.

As all the other reviews mention, this place is truly one of a kind. Spencer has thought of everything to make your stay perfect!

Amazing stay at this gem! So unique and special, everywhere you look there is something interesting. Truly feels like a whole other planet the landscape is incredible! Great location for exploring Big Bend and surroundings.

Me and my family had an amazing stay. We had never been to the Big Bend area and the house was the best home base. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else. Janet was an amazing host and the house had everything we needed and more. We traveled with small dogs and the backyard was secure and perfect for them. We also spent hours birdwatching and stargazing. Pure Perfection!

My girlfriends and I traveled to Terlingua for a women's hiking adventure. The property is a little ways away from the Terlingua town. But the views, the privacy and landscape made the distance more than bearable and very worth the stay. All the rooms in the house were spacious and comfortable. Both the front and back patios were very inviting. The house is an open concept which allows everyone freedom of movement. Our beds were comfortable and I slept like a baby both nights we were there. We used the kitchen on our second night for a home cooked steak dinner. All the basic cooking tools are provided. Stephanie and Bruce were very responsive to every message we sent from the time of booking to the time of departure. They offered suggestions and made us feel comfortable and welcome. I would definitely return to Tres Patas at my next visit to the area. The views were absolutely spectacular and we even got to see the Tres Patas bear (from a very safe distance). Book now!

What a wonderful stay! The place was gorgeous and comfortable. We had some really bizarre weather so we were unable to use the pool, but still got to utilize it for some great photos! The space was silent with nothing but the wind to be heard. The skies were gorgeous and even though we saw rain, hail, snow, clouds, and some sun we had a blast. The house itself stayed the perfect temperature and was very cozy. The hosts recommendations were also perfect!

Definitely get to experience living in the desert. We totally enjoyed sitting on the porch in the morning and evenings watching sunrises and sunsets. Read the summary carefully. It is very accurate, the driveway is a bit challenging: be sure to arrive during daylight!!

Clean. Good location with easy drive to National Park. One of the nicest looking areas to stay.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Location was so close to the State and National parks. The room had lots of thoughtful amenities like camp chairs and lights to use outside. Donnie and Lynda responded very quickly when we could not get the code to work getting into our room. Would highly recommend this location

The location and the host was perfect for us. With the location right in the middle of both parks of Big Bend. The best part was the ability to just get away from all the hustle and bustle of every day life.

The location was ideal for exploring Big Bend and nearby Terlingua Ghost Town, which had a couple great bars and restaurants. The place was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed to cook. Loved having the outdoor space to watch the sky!

Perfect spot to stay while checking out the national park. Very family friendly and very clean

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the A frame which was perfect for the two of us. It had everything we needed. We cooked 2 of our meals and took a little adjusting to the stove top. The stargazing was fantastic, the 2 separate outdoor spaces were great for relaxing. We also utilized the community center which had a pool table, Foosball, air hockey and darts. The proximity to Big Bend was 15 min to the entrance and about 45 min to trails. Our favorite hike was the lost mine, you have to arrive before sunrise to get a parking spot or go later when it's super hot. We went Friday morning around 830 but were too late so went Saturday about 650 in the morning, and there were about 5 spaces left. The hosts were great at communicating before and during our stay. the helpful hints really made our drive and stay seamless. We would definitely stay here again.

My Husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at George’s Air BnB! It had everything we would’ve needed. I will say we wished there was a shower caddy to hold some of our soap/toiletries but other than that, a wonderful time. Gorgeous place with fantastic views!

The cabin was a perfect retreat and we enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the landscape and really just a perfect spot for sirting out and relaxing at night under the stars. It was a great spot to stay while visiting Big Bend NP!

Terlingua was beautiful and this was the perfect place to be. We were able to see thu sights, relax watching the sky and meeting locals. I would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting a great getaway.

We loved staying at Camp Elena. Many places in Terlingua were right off the road, and this place is tucked away on an accessible dirt road. Perfect to create the quiet atmosphere for our getaway! The tent was exactly as pictured, clean, and very comfortable. We loved watching the sun rise and set from our balcony. We also loved being able to have fires at night! Our first couple nights, we had some pretty noisy neighbors who we could hear entire conversations from late at night (well past quiet hours). We notified the host, and they addressed it right away. Otherwise, we felt that other guests were respectful of the quiet/calm atmosphere. The host was responsive, and kind. Very easy to get in contact with! We appreciated the guidebook in the tent with how to operate everything and with local recommendations. We would certainly stay here again, and recommend it to others (though…I’d love for us to keep it a secret, so we could have it for ourselves. 😉).

Enjoyed the Aframe house, well equipped and stocked to BBQ, cook, relax outside and star gaze. Esteban answered all my questions and was very helpful. He even has an ATV for rent as an add on. Tips: download a map and the location. It’s not in Terlingua like the Air BNB map shows but it isn’t too far. Sign to get there is dark and hard to catch at night so map it before you go out there. If during daylight - no prob, easy to spot.

Luckily this place was available last minute after another didn’t work out. Tyler was very responsive which I am extremely grateful for. The surroundings are beautiful and quiet. I felt safe and cozy in the cabin. Great place to stay if you are visiting the area!

Such a cute little cabin and it was perfect for who was in and out constantly. So close to Big Bend National Park 🤍✨

Penni sent great instructions for finding the cabin safely and getting in unassisted. She even let me know that it was available before check in time the day of my arrival. She also responded to my question about directions from another route, and checked in on me via message during my stay. The cabin was cozy and comfortable and peaceful with a beautiful view of the mountains. I would recommend it to singles and couples looking for a getaway near Big Bend National Park and close to Terlingua's restaurants.
