This bustling water sports village has many amenities for a relaxing stay (including supermarket, restaurants). Our lovely 5-person vacation home (Sinneskyn) is located in the middle of a natural surroundings with a private harbor. A garden with lots of privacy, various terraces to relax to the fullest. The house is very suitable for families with children. In the backyard, there is a 🪵 🔥 hot tub (with bubbles & jets). This can be booked at an additional cost of €99 per rental period (of a week or less).

Holiday home on the water, with jetty

Water-rich Friesland at its best. In the heart of Friesland lies Terherne, on the Snekermeer. In the morning, breakfast on the terrace on the water. Then go to the Snekermeer by sloop or sailboat (Plenty for rent in the village). After a day of water fun, a BBQ and at home, casting out a fishing rod. The next day, discovering the Kameleon village or going out in Friesland is an option. This is just a selection of the many possibilities that our child-friendly place offers for a weekend, midweek vacation.

The Landscape

In this luxurious spacious home, you will experience rural life at its best! With a magnificent view over the countryside in the characteristic landscape of the Frisian Forests, it is wonderful to relax. Even from your bed, you can enjoy the great views and a beautiful sunrise. Who knows, you might spot deer, cows, birds and hares in the meadow. Enjoy the alpacas in the yard. The Landzicht is a great starting point to explore the area. Located near nature reserves, Drachten and the A7.

This centrally located vacation home in Appelscha has all the comforts. The spacious luxury house is right in the center on the canal, near the woods and within walking distance of restaurants and shops. The house has a spacious bathroom, an outdoor Jacuzzi, outdoor shower, floor heating, pellet stove, air conditioning. The house has two spacious bedrooms with box spring beds. The kitchen is fully equipped, such as dishwasher and combi oven. Nearby, there is plenty to do.

This spacious, detached upstairs apartment has a sheltered roof terrace and a living room with lots of windows that offer views of the famous Oldehove and the green, water-rich Prinsentuin. The spacious kitchen has all the facilities to prepare a delicious meal. The house has 3 bedrooms, a crib and high chair, 3 toilets, 2 bathrooms. A free parking space outside and a separate indoor garage to be booked.

A place to arrive and unwind: Renovated in 2020, the house is quietly situated in a water-surrounded residential complex in Friesland. On 88 m², you’ll find a fireplace, sauna, outdoor shower, and a spacious garden with a lounge. Equipped with solar panels, it offers sustainable comfort for families or couples seeking nature, light, and relaxation—whether for peaceful days by the water, active outdoor moments, or cozy evenings by the fireplace, all year round.

Nice house on the Boarne, near the Frisian lakes

Our house is a small but very nice house. From the jetty, you can board the boat and sail towards the Frisian lakes. The house is very quiet and is equipped with every comfort. You can stay comfortably with 4 people at the Wjitteringswei. The beds are wonderful. They are now set up as a double bed but can also be set up as 4 single beds. Wi-Fi is of course also available. And above all, a fantastic view. Check-in from 3 p.m. and check-out until 12 p.m.

Comfortable vacation home with fireplace

This comfortable vacation home is right on the Drents-Friese Wold. The house is in a park without facilities/entrance gate or rules. The houses in the park are both permanently occupied and rented for vacation. You can enjoy hiking, biking and mountain biking in the area. Cities such as Assen, Leeuwarden and Groningen are easily accessible. The house is completely and stylishly decorated and invites you to relax with a book by the fireplace.

Our lovely house is an old renovated farm, with all the comfort of today. The holidayhome de Drentse Hooglander has its own entrance, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen, a cosy living room with tv( netflix), a private garden and terrace. You'll find us in Eemster, just 3km from Dwingeloo, at a quiet road nearby 3 large naturereserves. Biketours and hikes starts from the house. Aldo and i hope to see and welcome you!

You can walk within 1 minute to the supermarket and within 5 minutes to the center of Sneek with cozy terraces, shops and restaurants. At check-in, you can take a key to the house from the key box, and the entire house is at your disposal!
