Sleepy Valley Cabin

Our little tiny cabin is 400 sf. It does not feel tiny at all. It has a living room, full kitchen, bedroom and full bathroom with shower and tub. 2 TV’s with direct tv and Roku hook up, Wi-Fi, grill, hot tub, washer and dryer, fire pit, outside claw foot tub, and porch swing looking over the valley. We are a 50 acre working farm. You may here us moving around but we will respect your privacy in your area.

We rented this AirBnB for the local cycling ride the Cherohala Challenge. This was a perfect location with great space for all our biking equipment. The location is also within a 5 minute walk to a credible beer pub, a more than respectable restaurant, and a killer pizza place. I believe this place was made for cyclists! The accommodations were also much more than adequate with a full kitchen and very comfortable linen and towels. Great place!

Everyone here was so friendly and welcoming to us. My wife and I loved the shop downstairs, the coffee was 10/10, the staff was super friendly and the Airbnb above was easy to find and cozy & clean. The town definitely has that Hallmark vibe and worth the visit. We really want to come back during the Fall & Winter now.

The cabin is located in a beautiful area and close to things to do. It was private but not entirely secluded. The kitchen was very spacious and the accommodations were perfect. The hosts even left us with items to cook for breakfast. The bed was very comfortable and there was a large screen TV in the bedroom as well as in the living room area. Melvin was very responsive and courteous. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if we are back in that area on another trip.

Cascades on the River

Absolutely beautiful location. The river is steps away with small rapids/falls right outside. The town itself is a sleepy peaceful place in the late fall/early winter. You are steps off the cherohala however the traffic noise is minimal at best. Parking was abundant. Kitchen while on the smaller side was adequately stocked, a baking sheet would have been nice but otherwise pretty much anything you had need of was supplied. Appliances were newer and nicely kept. We had very minor maintenance issues, and management was responsive, the maintenance man was very kind and helpful. A fire pit would have been an amazing addition but the beauty of the surroundings was awesome. Overall this is in a very safe, clean area, food within walking distance, fantastic views and responsive host.
