I am afraid I cannot express sufficiently fairly how amazing our stay at Casa da Cruz Alta was. The house is absolutely wonderful, comfortable, cosy; the heating, the soundproofing, the equipment, the details, everything perfect! Not only did we have everything we needed as the extras and the surprises were so many that our stay couldn't have been more complete. The owners are super friendly and attentive, being obvious the taste they have in receiving well and providing a great experience. The breakfast left daily was to cry for more. Thanks so much for everything, we will certainly return!

Everything went beautifully. The house is everything we needed, the space around it invites you to rest and enjoy nature, and Maria do Rosário was the best host we've ever had on Airbnb. If we have the opportunity, we will certainly be back!

The house was exactly like the photographs. From the time of booking to check-out, D. Adelaide was an excellent host, always available and attentive. The amenities were very comfortable and every corner of the house surprised us with the positive, with details thought out in detail to ensure the well-being and comfort of all. The reception by D. Gloria was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the welcome cake... was simply divine! Definitely an experience to repeat.

Since the very single morning freshly bread and local pastries delivered, to all the things she left in the house, we never had to go to any supermarket. And if you need any veggies, there’s a garden where you can go and pick up fresh veggies and herbs. If you are looking to disconnect and create memories for a lifetime, this is your place. Florbela made us feel like family, and her hospitality turned a beautiful stay into an unforgettable experience. We left not just relaxed, but with a new friend. If you're looking for a place to rest and relax away from traffic and closer to nature, this is the ideal place. The house is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking, hygiene, etc. The pool that the house offers has a very beautiful view, and it's a good pool! On the other hand, the nearest town is Seia, where you can go by car (8 to 10 min). The location of the Airbnb is a very small village, there is almost no entertainment (which is good because there is no bother from neighbors). The entrance to the house is also very small and narrow. Overall, I spent 2 quiet nights, we made our own food and we only needed to go to the city once. The location matches the images provided. The host was very friendly, flexible and attentive.

The accommodation is beautiful, decorated with very good taste and attention to every detail. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly owners, D. Isabel, Mr. Zé and the lovely Pipa. A very quiet place, surrounded by nature, ideal for resting. And best of all: they accept our big guys!

The host was very friendly and the house met our expectations and needs. I recommend it!

My husband and I had a great stay. We were on a quiet street on the edge of town but very easy to walk for food and fun. We were fortunate to meet the hosts and they were very kind and accommodating. The house was perfect for the two of us to be comfortable and cook. We very much enjoyed our time on the edge of the Serra da Estrela national park in the beauty of Portugal.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this space. It was peaceful, amazing views, and our 3 boys had such a great time enjoying the jacuzzi and jumping into the river. Quiet town that is the perfect escape.

My two friends and I absolutely loved Joao's place! It is one of the most unique airbnbs we have ever stayed in, built on the side of a mountain with a fabulous view off the balcony. It was comfortable and quiet. The town of Monsanto is also incredibly beautiful and unique and everything is in walking distance. I would love to return to Monsanto and would definitely stay in Joao's place again.

We enjoyed our stay at this peaceful little stop. The villagers were very friendly and the river was lovely for a refreshing dip. Nuno was very helpful and the place was spotless and had everything one needs

Perfect stay!

Linhares da Beira and the surrounding area is a beautiful place to visit. The villa is perfect- well worth the money spent! Comfortable beds and everything you need in the kitchen. We braved the pool even though the weather was a bit cold for the time of year. Thanks to Linda and Helena for everything.

Beautiful home with lots of amenities.

My family very much enjoyed this unique and calm location in a refurbished mill house. There is a boardwalk across the road that brings you to the village. David was responsive and helpful. Would gladly return.

The house was very clean and corresponds exactly to what is shown in the listing and photographs. Communication with Inês was always quick and effective. Check-in is simple, fast and autonomous. Check-out until 10 p.m. is a great bonus. The location is good, in a calm and quiet area. Very positive experience, I recommend it!

Perfect home to spend a few days away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and escape the routine. You just have to do a little grocery shopping in the village and you don't even have to leave the house, you have everything you need to spend a good few days. Super quiet place, you can hear the stream, the birds, surrounded by nature. The house even feels like ours, it doesn't give that rented house feeling, very comfortable, well decorated, and with all the essentials. Paula and Luís were great hosts, always in touch to give us directions on how to get there, points of interest and made us feel free to reach out whenever necessary. Can't wait next time!
