Neudorf Gingerbread House

Peter’s hospitality and kindness are both heartwarming and we felt welcome from the start. He has a very special home and garden/orchard and his passion for plants and the natural environment really shows. He shared several of his plums and apples with us, as well as homemade bread and fruit leather. The location is serene, yet close to several vineyards and a general store. What a special stay!

The Bungalow Cow Room

I don‘t even know how to start - we absolutely loved this stay and can only recommend it (we‘d definitely come again)! Rae and Paul welcomed us in the evening and were both super friendly and welcoming!! Rae immediately showed us around the house, which was super cozy, warm and so tidy/clean! We really loved all the details: chocolate bars in the room, bathroom utensils to use, bath robes, a Netflix account for the TV and so much more… Rae really made us feel like home by offering to use all the utensils in the shared spaces and giving us enough privacy! They were both super friendly and happy to chat a bit with us! And they have the cutest cat ever! We even got offered a variety of food for breakfast: toasts, yoghurt, fresh fruit, spreads, jams, hot chocolate/coffee, milk, … basically anything you could imagine for breakfast - it was so nice and just simply amazing! We felt like home! Our only mistake was that we only stayed for one night… 🥲 we loved this AirBnB stay!

Such a peaceful haven in a beautiful garden. So many thoughtful details here to make one feel comfortable. The outdoor shower was a real treat and falling asleep with the sound of the stream was a unique experience. Shanti is an excellent host who went over and above to make sure we had everything we needed.

Val's Retreat

We had a great 2 night stay with Valerie and Wayne. They welcomed us into their home and were very friendly and easy to talk to. The room was large, clean and comfortable with the bonus of a large lounge room which we didn’t use because we enjoyed sitting upstairs and chatting with Valerie and Wayne. They provided breakfast with cereals and homemade bread and jams and tea and coffee. We also tried fruit from the garden. We highly recommend staying here.
A serene coastal landscape features a gentle curve of sandy beach bordered by vibrant greenery. The clear turquoise water meets the shore, with a rocky outcrop visible on one side. Rolling hills and distant mountains create a natural backdrop, enhancing the peaceful setting.

The Gables Historic Villa

Loved the place. What a great 3 day stay we had. Homely queen room and ensuite with the added charm and character of its history, but full of amenity and convenience. Super comfortable especially the queen bed, spacious and loads of extras including a breakfast verandah room with fridge. Very central to explore the area and very easy to walk the water front. Great hosts and very welcoming which just added to our stay. Had absolutely everything you would need to feel cared for. Thoroughly recommend.
The image depicts a serene beach scene with gentle waves lapping against a stony shore under a clear blue sky. The sunlight reflects off the water, creating a glimmering effect. A distant coastline is visible, adding a sense of tranquility to the landscape.

We love Karen and John's home. Very beautiful and stunning views from our room of the ocean. Karen was such a lovely and caring host. They made us feel so welcome and were very helpful with recommendations of the area. Karen was very accomodating of us and always helpful. John cooked us the most beautiful breakfast which topped of a beautiful stay. We left with such a great feeling. They are such a lovely couple and we highly recommend that if you are wanting to stay in the area, this is the place to stay. We will be coming back to Ruby bay just to stay here again. Cannot recommend Karens Ruby bay home enough. Thank you Karen and John.

A cozy house in an impressive place. Very nice sized room and bathroom. The bed is very comfortable. The room is warm. There's no light pollution. On a clear night, the stars are thousands. The breakfast is delicious and Tammy and David have a lot of local information as well as being very talkative people.
