Wow effect on arrival! Indeed far from the "activity" of the north of the island, but it is an ideal location to be in peace with an amazing view! We were lucky enough to see a pod of dolphins for more than an hour of the show, in addition to rays and a reef shark. Extremely relaxing location, and by coming here, you can enjoy the serenity of the place. The owners are our neighbors but extremely discreet and responsive if needed. A lovely couple. We went to Bora afterwards... we already miss the accommodation at Leon's... and their cat Motu, very affectionate and cuddly. We had a rainy period and despite good wifi access, we preferred to take in the incredible view of the lagoon, which was hypnotizing. Extremely relaxing and quiet, it's different from the other islands. We really loved it. It's been a long time since we slept with all the windows open, to the sound of the waves lapping .... Recommended!!

You will love this location. There is a coral reef right off the dock where you can snorkle and see all the colorful fish. We were able to have the tour companies pick us up for our excursions. We highly reccomend Noè Plantier for 4x4 island tour. Noè grew up on the island and we had an amazing day. Noè can be reached on face book vanilla 4x4 botanical excursions. We also highly recomend Nui with Watercolor fishing. Nui offers fishing excursions as well as water tours around the island.You can find him on face book watercolor sailing. I cant post contact details here but I will on other travel sites. Please note that you will need the host to arrage a taxi from the airport to the grocery store, and then arrange a water taxi to take you to the location. This will cost approx 23,000 xpf each way. Ensure to inquire about what essentials will be required for your stay including toilet paper and soap. The only transport is kyack or bikes if available to access the store.

Place was private, quiet, very spacious, and absolutely beautiful. Having a private deck over the water with crystal clear water to snorkel and kayak in was more than we could as for. We highly recommend this place to anyone who is thinking of staying here.

Patrice and Sophie are lovely caring hosts. We felt right at home as soon as we arrived on the island thanks to a great welcome. The accommodation is immersed in an idyllic and authentic setting far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Recommended (and to be repeated!😁) without so much as a second thought! Maruuru Sof & Pat, and maybe see you next time!

Villa Nina is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay while in Raiatea. Our hosts Fabiola and Laure went the extra mile to ensure we enjoyed our accomodation and time on the island. I highly recommend it and look forward to coming back too!

This bungalow is located on what I would call the nicest property on the island. It’s exactly as advertised and on the best section of the Taha’a close to a few good restaurants / bars. A vehicle is necessary for bombing around. I would recommend contacting Taha’a Location for a water taxi service directly from the Riatea Airport which will get you right to their property on Taha’a where you can grab a car or scooter. The wifi and service is spotty around the the bungalow but that’s what you get on a sleepy island like Taha’a I guess! Book this place, book an excursion to snorkel at the coral garden, swim with the sharks and go live your lives. Vatea is a helpful host as well who made sure the place was ready well ahead of the check in time and quickly answered questions we had. Thanks for the memories and good luck!🤩

5 nights spent in Raiatea at Martine's. The accommodation is - 5 minutes from the port by car, all comfort and spacious. It is very well equipped with in + kayaks for sea trips on the public motu to see the reef and make a picnic! Communication is great with super responsive and kind hosts. Thanks again for spending time on your island.

The only bad thing about our stay is that we only spent a couple of days. We had an amazing time at this awesome home in the hills on Raiatea. Benjamin was very responsive, helped coordinate our rental car and very kind. The house was spotless, well maintained, and perfectly appointed. There were 6 of us and the space did not feel cramped at all. We highly recommend this beautiful home.

Truly a unique experience. The villa is only rented a few months a year, so you stayed in someone's house (with house cat). Which gives a warm feeling. In my opinion the most beautiful location of the island. great view and close to our favorite restaurant Fish & Blue.

This place was wonderful. Well stocked and well laid out. Very relaxing and the pool made for quick cool-offs in the warm weather. Having AC in all the bedrooms made sleeping a pleasure. I would recommend this location to anyone visiting the island!

The terrace of the home overlooks the water! Superb views of Bora! Possibility to rent a car as soon as you arrive at the dock so it's really too convenient. Comfortable rooms and beds. Beautiful environment. Close to the pearl farms and the rum cellar.

This home is a gorgeous place to stay and take in the beauty of Raiatea. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The beds are super comfortable. Wonderful spacious bathrooms. The kitchen is easy to cook in. We loved this central location to explore the island from. Benjamin is a wonderful host and communicates well. I felt very welcome and well cared for. Highly recommend.

Our hostess was wonderful! Kind, responsive, a Tahitian goddess who took the time to show us how to properly tie a pareo. The view was absolutely incredible, the peacefulness was wonderful and she was just so kind and helpful. You will not go wrong with this place. Highly recommend!!!

We had a wonderful stay in Tekauhivai’s place during our short trip to Raiatea. It was conveniently located near grocery store and the town centre of Uturoa, but is placed in a beautiful, peaceful setting. There were only 4 of us staying, but in addition to the 4 bedrooms and bathrooms there were many spare beds - so could have accommodated 4 more pretty easily. We really enjoyed all the lounge spaces - but what stood out was Tekauhivai’s responsiveness. The messaging was super fast - and they were even so generous as to allow us a late check out at 5pm (!) as our flight back to Papeete was at 6:30. We had a lovely stay - māruruu!

Great place to enjoy Raiatea and its sunsets. The accommodation has everything you need, including the kitchen with oven and gas stove. Benjamin is very responsive and advised us a car rental and an excursion to Tahaa that we are satisfied with.

A stone's throw from the Fish and Blue restaurant, incredible spot for sunsets :) Car rental with Up & Go impeccable, great excursion to Taha'a with Flo and Teva, fishing trip with Kenzo from Catch and Cook, everything contributed to a dream stay.
