Beautifully Rural 2 Bed Annex

CarolineRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
A lovely cottage with two large bedrooms. It has a private entrance so you don't encroach on the host's main home, the open plan kitchen/sittingroom works well and the small kitchen is well equipped. Tea and coffee and a light breakfast are provided on arrival and the location/village is chocolate box beautiful with a lovely village pub (great food and service) and a farm shop a few minutes walk away (wonderful fresh asparagus). No off street parking but the road is very quiet and peaceful, so no concerns there. Oundle is only a few minutes drive away. The cottage was very clean and we would happily stay here again.

What a beautiful place, excellent standard of furnishings and exceptionally good value. In the centre of town which is great for accessing local amenities and also quiet and tucked away.

*Bluebell Cottage*

A beautifully converted brick and slate cottage outhouse. Walk down to the end of a romantic, pebbled, garden path, among trees and flowers to an idyllic, completely private and silent, fairytale summer house, stylishly furnished. Outside an oak picnic table and chairs for dining with barbecue. On the night we arrived we could be found sitting on the grass, leaning on the nearest tree drinking tea at midnight, dappled light emanating from our cottage, well equipped for two people. Elton is a film set, begging to be strolled around at every opportunity. The Crown, 200 yards away, has great catering. Sue is welcoming, flexible, offering help without any intrusion.

Double bedroom with kitchenette and shower room

I have stayed here before and whenever Joanna’s place is available I will continue to book this accommodation. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to experience Stamford, Tolethorpe Hall and the surrounding villages. It has private off road parking and is only a short walk to local supermarkets and other amenities. It is a very private and secure location to stay and comfortable for more than one night for up to two people.
A cozy interior space features a stone fireplace with a large metal chimney, providing a rustic focal point. A well-stocked bar with several taps is situated in front of a green-paneled wall. Comfortable seating is available, including a classic leather armchair, enhancing the welcoming atmosphere.

A quiet, cosy gem just outside Oundle

KevinRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We had a fantastic stay at Sarah and David's lovely garden cottage. It was incredibly spacious, one of the most comfortable Airbnb's we've experienced. The cottage offers a great sense of privacy with its own entrance and a large sliding door leading directly into a private corner of the garden. Parking was a breeze, allowing us to easily unload our belongings even during rainy weather. Our flight was delayed, resulting in a very late arrival. Sarah and David were incredibly accommodating, ensuring everything was ready for our unexpected 1am check-in. The heating was already turned on, making for a warm and welcoming arrival. Sarah and David were wonderful hosts throughout our stay, always available and ensuring we had everything we needed. The well-equipped kitchen made it easy to cook meals and feel at home. We highly recommend this charming cottage to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay.
