It was a very nice stay here for 10 days, I had a very easy check-in, actually my check-in time was at 2 pm but I needed to check-in a little early so I asked them and Mr. Shiju allowed me without any hesitation. Shiju and her family gave me such a warm welcome and their approach made me feel like home.The room was very clean and had enough space, it had all the appliances we needed, a very useful place for self-cooking as it had all the kitchen essentials. Mr. Shiju's son Jaidan was very happy to bring any items as per our requirement. Overall all their family members treated me very lovingly.I will suggest the place to all my friends who come to stay in bangalore because it was such a wonderful experience I got from here, no need to go far to buy essentials and everything is available nearby. Once agian thank you Mr shiju for the wonderful experience 💕

We had a wonderful time in this homestay. If you want to have a unique experience to see the backwater, this is the right place. Manu is a great host, we enjoyed the chats and were grateful for the tips. Our highlights were definitely the morning boat trip with Manu's father, who showed us all kinds of birds, and the bike tour through the small villages. The food is also highly recommended. We even got a few cooking tips for home. Thanks for everything, I’ll be back :)

It was great experience. We checked in late in night and Steffy and the caretaker were always responsive and coordinated really well. The property was clean and well connected with boating location. Overall amazing experience.

The place is very safe and quiet

The house is in very good locality and rooms are value for money. I stayed there for 1 month and did not faced any issues in between my stay. Amith and neha were very responsive, responded very quickly to my queries during stay. Everything were made available before in the room before my stay started. Best for couples and if planning for longer stay. Room is at terrace, so have very good views of sky from the terrace

Great place to stay! Amazing View facing the valley. Very clean and great hospitality. The interiors are very well done. Food was amazing. Had Chicken Curry and Dosa which were freshly prepared and perfect for the weather.

I really had a good time. The room was supremely comfortable. The neighborhood is very peaceful.The view from the terrace was beautiful, especially sunset. Sharath and his family gave us such a warm reception. I enjoyed being there!

Every need was promptly attended to, whether it was an extra blanket or fresh towels, ensuring our comfort throughout. The thoughtful attention to detail made the experience wholesome and memorable. The only feedback we have is that having an additional functional bathroom would add even more to the overall comfort.

The place was lovely and as described! Area was quiet and peaceful. However, it would be helpful if host would mention any curfew timings for a smoother experience! Apart from that, it was a great stay :)

Srikanth’s place was easy to find and in a relatively safe looking area. The room was tidy and also had free netflix on the tv which was a plus !! unlimited water bottles in the fridge right outside our room. The cooler/ac didn’t really do much but it was all very pleasant.

Rode down from Bangalore and had a smooth, scenic ride—getting here was a breeze with Google Maps. The estate itself is absolutely serene, surrounded by nature and perfect for a peaceful getaway. The host and staff were incredibly warm, helpful, and made sure everything was taken care of. Service was prompt and thoughtful throughout. The property is beautiful and well-maintained—I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing escape.

We were a family of 4 adults, 3 toddlers and 3 senior citizens. the place was exactly as described. Emmanuel, the manager at the property was super helpful and always available. the included breakfast was also great with good variety. we stayed there for 3 nights and would easily recommend to anyone. Book it of you are looking for a great property which is secluded but still very close to the major tourist attractions in Ooty. 100% recommended.

I had such a wonderful stay! Raaj and Aunty were super friendly and made me feel right at home. The room was neat and everything was provided as per the description. What I loved most was the green terrace full of plants and flowers. The whole place was so quiet, making it perfect for studying and getting work done without any interruptions. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm and cozy stay!

Wonderful stay with my family and beautiful scenery surroundings. Great place place to spend quality private time in Kotagiri. The home cooked food was delicious and must try pallipalayam chicken & fish curry. Host and manager very helpful during my stays.

we had one of the most memorable week during our stay at Kariappa house. everyone was really helpful and courteous. breakfast was amazing! the property is the main highlight, super peaceful and lush green and the lap pool was cherry on the top.

Amazing stay and generously accommodating host. Felt safe even late at night in the neighborhood . Location was very convenient with nearby grocery stores, a small but very nice park for morning walks and lots of eateries of various types/ cuisines. Host was very gracious in accommodating our multiple requests due to change of plans.
