My sister and I had a perfect stay at Ken's house. We felt welcome and well cared for from the moment we arrived, thanks to him and his family. The house is cozy and equipped with everything needed for a peaceful stay. The property is incredible, with a particularly fascinating historic building! The neighborhood is quiet and serene, with supermarkets (including a 24-hour 7-Eleven!) and restaurants nearby. It’s also very close to the station. We are very grateful for Ken’s wonderful hospitality. This place is definitely recommended! 🩷✨

I stayed here for a month while working in Tokyo — I only needed to be most central a few days a week, so was happy to be based in a smaller, more local neighbourhood for the majority of my time. There's everything I needed locally, & Tachikawa was nearby for more hardcore shopping. The nearest train stations are quite a walk away, so I wouldn't recommend it if you plan to commute far or want to be elsewhere most days. The flat itself is very well kept & furnished with nice gadgets to make daily life comfortable (e.g. electric blanket .. lifesaver). The host was kind, responsive & helpful — I knew that if I needed anything, she would help. I felt looked after & also had privacy. The internet worked well, the bathroom great. There was everything I needed to cook most meals in the kitchen. Supermarkets 10-15 mins walk away. Gym & library 15-20 mins away. I hope to return to Kunitachi next time I'm working in the city.

Yukio is an amazing host! The house is wonderful and comfortable, there are lots of local parks around, and it's not too far of a walk to the bus stops. If you're looking to get a little bit out of the hustle-and-bustle of the city, but still want to be close, this is a great stay! Yukio provided us with great recommendations and made sure we were comfortable during our stay. Would recommend him to anyone.

We stayed at this beautiful Airbnb for five days, but would have loved to stay longer. Sawada-san and his wife are such warm and welcoming people. We had a small accident with our oldest son and Sawadan-san was so thoughtful of going with us to the hospital. We loved the real Japanese house and the beautiful garden. The area around is wonderful to walk around, you'll feel the real taste of Japan♥️
