Family-friendly vacation rentals in Talpa de Allende

As always, we had another fantastic and great week staying in this luxury apartment of Luis. We always stay at his place when we visit Puerto Vallarta. He is a wonderful host and his hospitality is excellent for us. We will be back again during Thanksgiving timeframe this year.

Overall a great experience. I have been to PV several times over the last 20 years and the location and this was one of the best experiences so far. This location is ideal for beach, night life, restaurants, and overall convenience. Our building host Alfredo was so nice and helpful and made our check in so easy. There was a minor issue with the room that he was up front about but it was not a big deal and he was super accommodating. Elíseo the owner of the unit was super responsive to my communication and there were no issues with the rental. We met several of the owners during our stay and they were all lovely and very nice. It was a very mature group of owners/renters and we very much felt peace of mind and not a party atmosphere. We would definitely stay at 353 Amapas again.

I don’t have enough great things to say about Marianne’s house. This was the perfect stay for our group of 6 for a bachelorette party. Marianne was extremely responsive ahead of the trip and helped to arrange chef meals as well as grocery shopping done on our behalf. This place is in great proximity (driving) to amazing restaurants. Will definitely look to stay here again!

Good location. spacious place.

We were two couples and absolutely loved Vallarta Shores and #7. Great location at the end of the beach with easy walking to everything! The condo was very comfortable and beautiful Ocean front for both bedrooms was fantastic. Kitchen had all the basics with nice fridge and stove. Wifi excellent. Beach front pool and Palapas for condos were perfect. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at David and Claus's place! The home was beautiful, with plenty of common areas to spread out, well-stocked with amenities, comfortable bedrooms, and well-located near lots of delicious restaurants. The hosts were very quick to respond to any question or inquiry and let us store our luggage after checkout. One thing to note for people hoping to work remotely: The internet is very fast and can support multiple video calls, but it works best close to the router. Thank you for hosting us!

Very nice apartment, very large, spacious, clean. Right by the sea, as stated in the description. The tower's amenities are very clean and nice.

We had an amazing stay at Richard and Gabrial’s place! Everything was as described and the unit was wonderful. It’s a great location, close to everything yet quiet and restful. Gabrial was a great host, always attentive and quick to respond. We would definitely stay again, and hated to leave 👍

Amazing location and spacious airbnb! Devin was super responsive with any issues we had and even accommodated with our later flight with a later check out time. Highly recommend!

Great location and amazing view!! Loved the hammocks and outdoor furniture- Comfortable and great big table for playing games. Restaurant had good drinks and food and all the staff were super friendly and always helpful! Rooftop pool wasn’t open but we still hung up there for the views and hot tub. Would definitely return!

Stefano's condo is super comfortable. We enjoyed the terrace with the pool, the spectacular sea view and the beautiful sunsets. The building is very well maintained thanks to Juanita who is regularly on site. She also takes care of Stefano's condo; she is trustworthy and reliable. Stefano is committed to the well-being of his visitors, he makes sure everything is fine and notifies us at events when necessary. It is responsive and in solution mode, we really appreciated them. Although the condo is located on a hillside, we enjoyed our stay.

Had a great time at this very conveniently located airbnb. Some amenities were unavailable during our stay (air conditioner) but the air fans were sufficient. There is currently some construction going on, so if you’re a light sleeper you may need to communicate with Marco before booking. Otherwise the Airbnb was clean, it had responsive and attentive hosts, and it was centrally located to everything! Definitely recommend!

We loved our stay at the farm! We got to collect eggs, ride horses, and enjoy the beauty of the mountains! Going into town was quick and there was lots to do around the area. Mostly we enjoyed just sitting on the front porch and playing in the front yard, going for walks and bike rides on the road, and having family bonfires. It is quite chilly in the winter in the evening so make sure you dress for it! Javier and family were so kind and welcoming! We’ll be back!

The apartment was perfect. Super clean and comfortable. The sheets were magic! We loved the location that was not directly in the touristic area but still really close by walking. We recommend!

This was an excellent experience. Jose and his wife are amazing hosts. They are very knowledgeable about the local area and have excellent recommendations for anything you might need. As hosts, they go above and beyond and are truly very kind people. The neighborhood is a family area. Right across the street is a little store where you can get fresh vegetables and tortillas every day, the laundry is right around the corner, and people are friendly. If I had an opportunity to do this again, I absolutely would rent here again, it was a really neat and authentic experience.

My husband and I really enjoyed our peaceful stay here. Bonus that it’s pet friendly. Elvis and Moises were very responsive to our needs and the maid was very nice as well. The beds and pillows were comfortable, hot showers, plenty of towels, kitchen amenities were great, they had a large jug of water for daily use, and very clean space— we felt right at home. Very close to the zona romàntica, plenty of coffee shops and places to eat. Very steep hills , we managed to walk up twice and it wasn’t too bad. The views are incredible from the pool, no pictures can do it justice, a mix of green and ocean.

Matts place was amazing! It is a bit of hike (up either stairs or hill) to get to the place from the romantic zone, but the views are 100% worth it and ubers/ indrive are very inexpensive there and easily accessible. The place had a very local and authentic feel to it and had everything we needed for our stay. Matt was really responsive and allowed for both an early check-in and late check-out to accomodate our travel! I would 100% stay here again. The pool area and roof was wonderful and we even saw the fireworks most nights.

We booked this room for walkability and the ocean views and we were still floored by how amazing it was. The waves were SO nice to wake up to in the morning. The second floor balcony offered great ocean (and people watching) views while still feeling fairly private, even though it opens up to the main boardwalk. We were thrilled with how much of our itinerary we were able to walk to, as this place is very centrally located between the Romantic Zone and downtown. The rooftop terrace and pool were also excellent perks. It has a very well stocked kitchen as well. The noise of the crowds could definitely be heard well past our (fairly early) bed time, but we could mostly drown it out with the AC and fan, so it wasn't a big deal. Would absolutely stay again!

Casa Dorothy is the perfect oceanfront escape! The authentic Mexican decor gives the condo so much charm and made us feel right at home. The rooftop pool is stunning—we loved relaxing there each evening while watching incredible sunsets over the ocean. The location couldn’t be better: steps from great restaurants, shops, and cafes. Everything is walkable, which made exploring super easy. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel completely safe throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a beautiful, comfortable spot with amazing views and a prime location, Casa Dorothy is it. Can’t wait to come back!

It’s a very nice place . But a little pricey

Always love staying at Nima Bay, this was our favorite unit there, we were there for a month. The private roof top is huge and great to spend a lot of time up there. There is also a large terrace on the main floor. The Internet was solid the whole time. The air conditioners worked great as well. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

We had an amazing time, and this place is absolutely gorgeous. Jorge and Alfredo were wonderful hosts. Pictures don’t do justice to the beauty of this space and the surrounding area. It is so inviting and serene, and it truly helped to make our trip something special. It’s just a short walk down the hill to all the shops, restaurants, and the beach. But honestly, between the private pool and amazing view, no one would blame you for staying in your room all day! Would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back.

We enjoyed our stay in this spacious condo. The ocean view was fantastic and Elizabeth the maid was an excellent cook and very helpful. I wish the WiFi had been stronger and that the pool had gotten some sun.
