Tim’s place is ideal. Only 5 mins walk to the beach. Charlies cafe is not far. The pictures were a perfect description on the place, but i think it was better. I met his parent’s as well who were very friendly. The area in general is a nice part to stay. Quiet with excellent beach. I would recommend Tim’s place to any solo / couple traveller.

I've been coming here now for four years and cannot recommend it enough! The location is unbeatable, and by far the best on the island. It's quiet and out-of-the-way of the hustle and bustle, yet you get sunrises and sunsets over the lagoon, walkable distance to the grocery store and restaurants, you can even walk to the waterfall. The rooms are comfortable and spacious and have everything you need. I really enjoy taking the kayaks that are provided out for a paddle on the lagoon. I've already booked my trip next year and I think that says it all!

The accommodation is beautiful, with stunning views, a private pool, and an outdoor shower that give it a resort-like feel. It’s peaceful and quiet, yet just a short stroll - or a few minutes drive - to some fantastic eateries and bars. The deck was a perfect spot to unwind and take in the view, and the coffee machine was top-notch. The hosts were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed trying out their local food and drink recommendations. Would absolutely stay again!

Genuinely the best Airbnb any of us have stayed in! Gorgeous home. All the amenities you could possibly need. We stayed for 8 nights and wanted for nothing. Well stocked pantry. Amazing amount of towels and linen to use. Comfy beds. Good air-con. Amazing location!! The lagoon just outside is perfect for snorkelling and swimming, we would often have turtles swimming past us! The Avaavaroa passage is just to the right but it’s easy to stay away from. Next door is Sea Pace turtle tours, which is an amazing company to go and see turtles with. They helped us navigate the passage and were very friendly and knowledgeable. Amazing place to stay, brilliant value for money, couldn’t recommend it more!!
