Fun Times at the Beach

A fantastic location and a great house in this family-friendly place. A few steps away from the surf club and reserve. Two walkways taking you to the beach., (no roads to cross). A safe cul-de-sac for children. Pets welcome. No extra guest surcharges. Fill up the outside hot tub with water, light the fire and have a hot water bath!! Please note that there are no sheets or towels provided. Please enquire for a price to provide them. Stays of three nights or more, they are complimentary.

Sarah was so helpful because I was booking this trip on very short notice! She let me know what was available and was very communicative and responsive. The house has every you need and not far from The Mount which is a gem and in my opinion the best beach in New Zealand! Overall, such a lovely stay. Would book again!

Karen’s place was perfect for a family of 4 for 3 nights. There was enough room for comfortable sleeping, relaxing and eating. We did eat every night and if you plan to stay in, there are limited cooking facilities as explained and described. There are plenty of places to eat and Karen was very helpful in sharing favourites. Everything is walkable or a very short drive. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and the later checkout was super helpful to maximise beach time. The added beach towels were a nice touch. I highly recommend this place as very affordable and comfortable accommodation for a few nights getaway.

A taste of Tuscany in Newstead is all we can say!! Great indoor outdoor flow with all the amenities to keep people active and engaged. The tennis court provided entertainment and controversy while the spa and pool provided relaxation and ambiance. The complementary bubbles received on arrival was well needed after a long trip with a talkative passenger. Great entertainment facilities and loved the touch of country surroundings, would stay again.

We loved the property! It was just a short 5-minute walk to Papamoa Beach, with a New World and great eateries only a 3-minute drive away. The house had everything we needed, making our stay so comfortable. Traveling from Christchurch with a baby, toddler, and dog, we really appreciated the thoughtful touches—especially the bath bombs, which were such a treat. Belinda was easy to get in touch with, responsive, and really helpful—especially when we requested an earlier check-in. Would definitely stay again!

We have stayed at many places through Airbnb. We have had great experiences and enjoyed all the places we have visited. That said, Barbara has been the most amazing host of all. Her place is second to none. She is kind, genuine, and a great communicator. Her place is on the ocean, and near a very good grocerie stores and many restaurants. I highly recommend Barbara's place , and very appreciative!
