Villa Huvikumpu. - Rural romance near the city in a small house built in the 1930s. The house is almost a hundred years old and is not a luxury property, but it offers a good and peaceful night's sleep. A quiet old residential area with lots of small wooden houses. Children are welcome. There is a high chair, travel cot, potty and toys for children. Animals are welcome. The location is NOT in the city center. The center of Lappeenranta is 4 kilometers away. Bus stop nearby, as well as a good bike path to the center.

Cottage Kotiranta is located on the shores of Lake Saimaa in Taipalsaari. The cottage is surrounded by nature, so you can spend time in peace in the spacious yard playing games or watching birds from the terrace. The yard of the cottage borders the beach, which has a gently deepening sand/clay bottom. There is also a jetty on the beach for swimming or sunbathing. You have a rowboat at your disposal, so you can go fishing if you want. Several guests have been delighted with the abundant fish catch.

Peace and harmony at Pikkumökki-cottage

Pikkumökki-cottage is a cosy, traditional log cottage with a magnificent view over the lake Saimaa. The cottage has an open common area (livingroom and kitchenette) and a sleeping alcove. Sauna is in the same building with an own entrance. There is no shower, but you wash yourself with a refreshing lakewater. There is no watertoilet, but traditional dry eco toilet in a separate building. A big terrace and a grill for barbeque. There is a small bungalow next to the cottage, with beds for two.

Unique Villa by the Lake

The new, fully equipped villa is situated in a tranquil location on the shore of the clear and pristine Lake Kuolimo. It is the perfect place to escape from everyday life and enjoy nature. The main building is located on top of a hill, and almost every window offers beautiful lake views. Along the shoreline, there is also a separate sauna building. The villa is suited for families or small groups. Parties or other big catherings are not allowed. The stated number of guests must not be exceeded.

A cozy traditionel Finnish log cabin next to a peaceful little lake. The cabin is placed beautiful calming area in the middle of forests. The cottage has sleeping accommodations for four (a sleeping loft and a sofa bed). There is a charming small kitchen, a fireplace inside and campfire place on outside, composting dry toilet and a sauna (no normal bathroom). The hot tube is available with extra charge (50e). For an authentic Finnish sauna experience, enjoy the traditional lakeside wood-fired sauna with its gentle heat. The beach is shallow and child-friendly. The cabin accommodates up to 4 people. (In 2026, the lake water level is exceptionally low, as is the case elsewhere in Eastern Finland. So swimming may be difficult in shallow areas.)

The Rockhouse is hand-built from local wood. The cabin is a warm cabin equipped with amenities on a rock in the middle of nature and forest animals. The terrace overlooks about 4 km from the lake in the direction of the sunset. Separate landscape sauna and glazed atmospheric barbeque hut on the terrace.
