Our stay at Bernard's was most pleasant and relaxing, thanks in particular to Bernard's sympathy, availability and warm welcome, but also because the house is spacious, clean, the outside and the pool very appreciated and everything is no longer equipped, honestly, we lack nothing! We recommend it without a second thought, looking forward to returning.

The chateau is set within a lush landscape, surrounded by mature trees and manicured greenery. A gravel pathway leads to the grand entrance, showcasing the building's classic architecture and expansive windows reflecting the sky above, dotted with fluffy clouds.

We had a great stay at this "small" chateau, although 8 bedrooms and bathrooms is hardly small! The chateau is situated in its own idyllic grounds but is only 5 minutes away from a supermarket and a quaint village. The chateau is obviously very old and is furnished accordingly, so if it's all the "mod cons" that you want then this is not for you. Having said that the wi-fi was very fast and available throughout the chateau. Arnaud was a very responsive host and Isabelle was there to welcome us when we arrived. We loved the place and would not hesitate to return for future family celebrations.

Great week although we weren’t so lucky with the weather! Pool is lovely and house pretty well equipped. The children loved the steam and swings. You need a car or bikes to reach a cafe or boulangerie. Would recommend a trip to Sainte , Mornac sur Seudre and St Palais beach !
