This guy is a gem. Super kind and patient with me and my terrible Japanese, but we were able to talk through google translate which was good. He also waited for me in the morning and allowed me to sleep in. His house was incredibly peaceful and has everything you need. He even dropped me off at the pier, which was above and beyond what I needed. So nice, I highly recommend staying at his place! Thanks again 🙏🏻

Close to Kameyama park & many restaurants -Okina-

This place was so great to say that our trip to Hita was complete. As you have traveled to many places, I felt that you really conveniently arranged and thoughtfully cared about every space in the accommodation from a traveler's point of view. If it wasn't for this place, I wouldn't have been able to walk to the river slightly away from the station, but I was so happy to be able to enjoy the various landscapes of Hita by boat. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to the accommodation, but I think it took more than 30 minutes to stop every step to capture the wonderful scenery and take photos. Those who come to sightseeing usually go to see Mameda-machi, but if you want to feel the quiet charm of Hita Bay more deeply, I recommend walking lost everywhere. As a dog, I wanted to spend time with Yasuragi's mascot, Den, and I want to take a walk if possible. Can I walk my dog?'I memorized Japanese, and the day we checked in was unfortunately less than a week after the den crossed the rainbow bridge. I was sad because the flowers in memory of the den were all over the reception, and the blooming flowers seemed to show that there was no grief of loss yet. The bedding was really neat and cozy, so I slept really well, and the water pressure was very strong! It's a hydroelectric power plant. For guests, they also rented bicycles for free, so I really felt comfortable walking around the neighborhood like a local. I go to McMorning on my bike every morning. I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days, and I wanted to stay for a week or so.. Next time, I want to visit with a more relaxed schedule so that I can experience various activities run in Yasuragi. Thank you again Yoshimi for your kind hospitality.

Kappa Home

Hideki and Yuko have really been helpful from the start of our stay until the end. Pick-up could be arranged if you are taking either the JR train or local bus to their place. Please note that this listing is a room in their house which is a traditional kind. Our stay included breakfast which varied each day—from typical Japanese to western. They have also been accommodating in terms of places to explore. We really didn’t have a plan but they helped us make one in a short notice. They even lent us their bikes. We should have stayed longer. Their place has been really a breather. Thank you, Hideki and Yuko! With this, we not only recommend their place to stay, but also both of them as really nice hosts.

Private room in Tobata Ward, Kitakyushu

【female only】Nostime lodge A (available in English

예지Rating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
I had a comfortable stay at the accommodation. The only downside is that it takes about 20 minutes from Tobata Station, and it's a bit steep to get to the house. There's also a staircase in the middle, so it's a little difficult, but the price is cheap, so it's understandable. The room was a single room, but it was tidy. It was cold in the evening, but it was okay to sleep with the heater on. It was a typical Japanese house, so I liked it! The host was very kind and listened to my requests. The bathroom and bathroom were tidy, and it was really nice to be able to cook microwave ovens and refrigerators in the kitchen. However, the convenience store mart is a little far away. If I come on a trip to Kitakyushu later, I want to come again. There is a slight disadvantage, but I want to stay really comfortably and come again!

It was helpful to be able to check in early. The location from the room was lovely and I wish I could have stayed longer! It looked like a new building, and the bedroom and bathroom were all clean. There were also manga comics and board games, and I felt the high level of hospitality from the host.I want to stay here again.

3. Stay like a local in Fukuoka, a city by the sea, in an ash house

명희Rating, 5 stars1 month ago
It was quiet in a residential area, and the accommodation was spacious, so I had a refreshing itinerary. I think it would be perfect for 3-4 people to stay. The host, Fumi-san, was kind, so it was comfortable. There is a grocery store within walking distance, so you can buy small food, so I experienced another pleasure.
