Kowalska Chata is a unique place on the map of Zawoja – perfect for people looking for relaxation in comfortable conditions and close to nature. The house is very spacious, well adapted for both families and larger groups. Noteworthy are the numerous amenities – a sauna, a hot tub, a fireplace or a large terrace with a beautiful view. The interiors are decorated with attention to detail and kept in impeccable cleanliness. A huge advantage is the location – the windows offer a breathtaking view of Babia Góra, which makes the stay even more special. Hosts are extremely helpful and friendly, providing advice and support at every stage of the stay. This is a place you want to come back to – quiet, cozy, and at the same time modern and very comfortable. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a moment of rest in a beautiful mountain environment.

We felt cared for. Very connected to your host and wife. Flexible approach to check-in and checkout times. We were impressed with the functional kitchen and the number of different pieces of tableware. Clear instructions for using the sauna and hot tub. Definitely a sense of privacy obtained through the surrounding trees, shrubs, and the location of the cottage. The only thing I may have to disclose is the lack of clear information in the description of the rental unit with a refundable security deposit, which the owner collects additionally. The host was open to discussing the issue - after the stay, the security deposit was refunded. Highly recommend for couples as well as for larger families/groups!

A great stay in a wonderful scenic location. Great views from the terrace and outside space. A great playground for the kids. The house was as described with lots of space and lovely amenities like the hot tub and sauna. House stocked as expected. We had trouble getting our minivan up the hill but likely due to being an older rental. The owners were kind enough to assist with bags and the like which was a blessing.

Superbly located on a hill overlooking the surrounding hills. Just a few other chats around, so quite private. The arrival was a bit punk towards the end, it goes up the forest path up the hill, where the first time we knocked the bottom (ceed) a few times, but we made other trips up just fine. There is a grill, there is no covered patio, which we would appreciate when it rained. Great communication with the host, she tried to help and responded within a few hours. The garden is big enough for a dog, or children perfect. From the cottage there is a hiking trail to Velka Čantoryja.

Very nice cottage. Clean and cozy interiors, fully equipped kitchens and comfortable rooms. In addition, a beautiful view from the terrace and the possibility of using amenities such as a grill or a fire pit. Highly recommend this place ☺️

The cottage is very cosy with all necessary. Everything was clean and tidy and as described. There was warm enough even though we were there in winter time. Location is perfect - nothing is far away, but it is a very quiet neighborhood. Katarzyna is very nice, friendly and helpful host. I definitely recommend it.

We were very satisfied with the accommodation provided to us. We stayed with a child(with a disability),everything is on the same level,housing,swimming pool,jacuzzi. Walking,sledding, skiing for lovers of skiing. Transportation is easy to call, food delivery around the clock. Warm,light,clean!The view of the mountains is mesmerizing!Julien recommended us restaurants. Shops are within walking distance!I really want to come back for another vacation. The apartment was very clean and spacious and located on a private premise about 10 minutes from the city center of Zakopane by car. The premise includes a (small) shared pool, sauna and jacuzzi that is open in the evenings for guests, which are an ideal place to relax after a long hike during the day. The apartment is fully furnished with everything you might want, including a washing machine, dishwasher with soap and enough cookware to allow you to cook a healthy meal. The only thing that was not visible in the pictures, was the fact that the couches are not that comfortable to sit on, but that does not take from the fact that this apartment is the ideal homebase if you want to go hiking in the Zakopane area.

the chalet is in a beautiful location . I believe that in the summer the property can be used even better. the only things we feared were the beds(mattresses), but in the end, we had a great night's sleep. Great place to stay.

A unique place to rest. Beautiful, well-decorated and well-equipped cottage. Quiet neighborhood. Beautiful views due to its location pretty high. An inn with very tasty food in the area. In the evening, you can relax in the tub. Recommended !!!

We had a comfortable stay at Monika’s home. She was also very communicative and helpful. The location is ideal as it was quiet and still very close to restaurants and hiking trails.

The accommodation was beautiful and tastefully furnished. Everything was clean, and it was evident that the host takes great care of the property. We absolutely loved the cabin, thoroughly enjoyed our time there, and it was the perfect place to recharge our batteries. However, I must mention the relatively high cost for using the hot tub, especially considering it was just a one-time use. When we booked the stay, the information regarding the use of the sauna was different from what the host later presented to us. The details were updated afterwards, and we managed to come to an agreement, but it caused unnecessary confusion. One thing I found inconvenient was the constant need to be in contact with someone and wait for someone to come or not to come, which took away from the overall comfort.

We had a wonderful time. The house is really beautiful and very tastefully decorated. The Westtatra is simply fantastic for hikers and the house is perfectly located for this. Jan and Katharina are great host. We regret that we can't speak Slovak, because we would have liked to talk to them more. We will be happy to come back!
