Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Sylvan Beach

The Farm House Lodge was a great decision for our group of snowmobilers. After finding out that the Tailwater Lodge was full, with no vacancy’s, I was able to download the Air B and B Application on my phone. It appeared that everything was booked due to a busy weekend full of snowmobile events. I was able to locate the Farm House which is right next door to the Tail water Lodge. After talking to the friendly host, this house was for our group. The Farm House sits directly on the trail and easily accessible from the back yard. From pictures and description it was hard to imagine this house, but it’s beautiful broken up into two suites on the first floor that each have their own bed, little kitchen, bathroom and living room with a pull out bed. The upstairs has a master style bedroom and bathroom, along with another room with bunk beds. All the rooms share the master main kitchen, along with a great room that had a pool table and tv. Great experience with the host and I would come back

Emily was one of the best hosts I have had. Very quick to respond and flexible. The area received 1.5-2' of lake effect snow by 9am that morning, Emily made sure that the driveway was plowed out for us by the time we got there and made sure that we were ok to get in. This is a great little lake cabin for a weekend fishing trip or a trip away from home. FYI, the sand bar and grill 1.5 miles down the road has great food at great prices.

The Eagle View is an amazing stay. A great home away from home. With the amenities alone I did not want to leave. The jacuzzi and cow were my favs and the mattresses are a dream! Heather is so responsive and accommodating which made the stay so much more enjoyable during a difficult time.

Lovely place. Wish the weather had been better. Stocked with so many amenities and things - just show up! Hoping to come back this summer & fish! Thank you for such a cute place.

This is a quiet rustic spot Jeannie made it a point to introduce herself and let me know if I needed anything just reach out I took advantage of the free snacks and if you forget anything there was a nice assortment of toiletries My only disappointment for the stay is i did not get to pet the dog!!!!!

“An exceptional retreat with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials to actually cook, and the thoughtful design extends to the outdoor patio, where we enjoyed using the grill. The hosts were absolutely wonderful—attentive and welcoming—and the location is perfect, right in the heart of the entertainment district. I stayed here with my 13-year-old twins, and we found it to be incredibly quiet and peaceful. We’re truly grateful for such a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a high-end stay.

Great little place. Very private, even though it's upstairs of the main house. It has a separate entrance. This apartment, has the best views in the whole house, overlooking a field. Great little kitchen (with coffee supplies, tea, and some snacks). Comfortable separate bedroom. I could live there pretty happily!

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting our child at Colgate University. Absolutely loved our stay! The hosts live next door and were very accommodating. The home was beautifully decorated and well appointed with cool fixtures and the most comfortable couch. They provided ground coffee, which was delicious, and the beds had great mattresses. The water pressure in the shower was not as strong as we like but everything else was perfect. The location was peaceful with beautiful views over the lake. The house is remote, but was easy to find. Can't wait to come back.

There isn’t enough space to share all the great things about this place. Remarkably clean, modern amenities, comfortable furniture, and on and on. The hosts are friendly and easy to get ahold of if needed. This is our second stay and it’s was just as beautiful as it was 3 years ago. It’s definitely one of the best places we have ever stayed at. The added bonus is the beautiful lake with easy access for seasonal enjoyment.

We had the most wonderful stay at Amanda’s place! The space was exactly as described and perfect for our family while visiting our daughter at Colgate. We loved the location on the lake and views out the front windows. The house is about 3 miles from the Colgate athletic fields or a ten minute drive - 12 minutes if you’re going up the hill. Amanda was such a gracious and accommodating host with excellent communication. We will definitely be back!

Went up with a friend to go fishing for the weekend. Cabin was awesome and super clean. Had everything you would need as far as pots and pans, and things like that. We had a little issue at first with the key but we called the host and he helped us figure it out in like two minutes. The host told us that the fire wood stacked there was free so that was pretty great too, and there was little bags of chips and stuff already in there. Bathroom was good. Shower was good but the hot water doesn’t last too long. The listing kinda confused me and I thought that it was one bedroom, and then the upstairs part. But it was two bedrooms and the upstairs part. So it was four beds not 3. Great place tho 10/10 would recommend.

A great stay ! If you want to enjoy nature or hit the salmon river this is the place.

The cabin was perfect. Well maintained and great location. Access was easy and has everything we needed. Loved sitting by the firepit and in the jacuzzi. Access down to the river was great and the landscape beautiful. Close to Old Forge and many hiking trails. Pictures don't do it justice.

I was very happy with not only the house, but the attention to detail when it came to having soap and different amenities as well as dvd's to watch and the fenced in backyard for my dogs was the best part because they still could run around and feel like home for them. I would highly recommend this house,If you are in the area and I may have to come back and spend more time in the future.

A well maintained, clean, quiet, and easily accessible location that has all the amenities we wanted. It is the second Airbnb property managed by Brian and Melissa in which we have stayed and we were very pleased both times. We took a short walk to the lake so the dogs could swim, watched a pair of red-tailed hawks on their nest within a hundred yards of the cabin, and enjoyed preparing our meals in the kitchen. Hamilton is a short, scenic, and peaceful drive of only a few miles. We look forward to staying in this cabin again.

The cabin was as advertised and was perfect for a rendezvous with my sisters.
