Family-friendly vacation rentals in Sykia Chalkidikis

My friends and I loved our stay at Electra’s place. Electra was always responsive and helpful. Her neighbour Paul greeted us when we arrived and made us feel very welcome - he was very helpful and gave us recommendation’s. The house was very clean and cosy. We loved having a private beach and the surroundings were beautiful! We would definitely return.

We had a very good time! The view is amazing and the villa is super beautiful. The host is very kind and helpful. Anyway we have two suggestions: 1. There was no air conditoner in the rooms. So we had to leave the door open because it was hot in the rooms. 2. The internet in the rooms is slow. It only works in the sofa.

This property is a beautiful refuge, and provided a spectacular location for a meeting of friends that also included a series of business meetings/discussions. The views are spectacular, there is a nice public beach nearby, and you can access a lovely (if pricey) resort nearby where there are plenty of restaurants, shops, and a market. This is about a 3 minute drive away. Better yet, if you cross the peninsula (about a 12-minute drive) to Nea Fokea, there are good restaurants at half the price, a larger market, and also a lovely public beach. That said--you don't have to leave the property to enjoy a great time. There is a breeze to cool things down much of the time, a nice small pool/spa and spectacular sunsets. The interior of the house is comfortable, and feels like a lovely family home--it has essentially two apartments, with separate kitchens upstairs and down. The wifi was more than adequate for 5 to use simultaneously, and we were able to hold international Zoom meetings.

House located in a great location. Although close to the street, it is very quiet. Beautiful garden with olive and orange trees. Sea view balcony great for relaxation. Nikolas is helpful and very kind. House as pictured and description. Great week of rest!

Everything was great. Peaceful place, there is a village nearby for supermarkets, restaurants etc. Responsive host, always helped when we had questions.

The villa was amazing and the response and hospitality were excellent. We really enjoyed all the facilities which were of a high standard and as described. Definitely recommend and would love to come back again

Kostas's house is a gem! The private location is perfect for those seeking tranquility in nature. We particularly enjoyed the large, well-maintained garden, which provided a beautiful and inviting space to relax. The house was impeccably clean, and the kitchen was exceptionally well-stocked – a real treat, especially with the thoughtful addition of local produce. Kostas was an outstanding host. His communication was excellent, and he went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Waking up to the lovely views of the surrounding nature was a highlight of our stay. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable retreat.

The apartment is clean, fully equipped with x2 air conditioners, washing machine, dishwasher etc with indoor parking and is in very good location close to the beach/ main walkway of Pefkochori by the seaside with lots of shops, restaurants, bars, funfair games in 5 min walking distance. Crazyland waterpark, Glarokavos and Chrousso beautiful sandy beaches with clear water and not overcrowded are just 5 -7 min by drive. 0lga is a great host, was very helpful, kind and responded immediately to every enquiry. We had a lovely family vacation. Thank you Olga.

Labors is a great host. Quick response, helpful tips, great hospitality. The location of the property is amazing - right at a beach, secluded, and easy access by car to nearby villages and restaurants. The house has a full kitchen and everything that one may need. Perfect vacation hope if you have pets. Highly recommend and will gladly visit again.

We arrived late on Saturday for Easter and hadn't eaten yet. Christ then arranged food for us, also for the next day , Easter Sunday because almost everything was closed. Question about the shower was taken care of right away. Got towels to go swimming. In short, no question was too much! incredibly friendly people and always ready! we have been there for 10 days and we had a great holiday thanks to them

This place is very nice to relax and enjoy the beach. Makis nest is a couple steps from the beach (3min). the beach access is through his property. Highly recommend this place. The garden area is very beautiful and relaxing. The host was an amazing person, he is very attentive and helped us so much. Always available and willing to help us. There's a supermarket like 400m away. If you have a car, you can go to the best beaches in Vourvourou very easily. *YOU NEED A CAR, there's no public transportation in Vourvourou

Niko was a great host. Very easy to communicate with and responsive. He welcomed us and gave us all the information to visit the surrounding area. The 3-floor villa was very clean and comfortable and right in front of a beautiful beach with a great restaurant within walking distance. We loved our short stay and plan to come back for a longer stay.

We enjoyed the house and the property with proximity to the beach very much. The house is beautifully decorated, offered enough space for our two families and had everything we needed. The terraces invited us to linger and eat together, the garden was great for the kids. We even saw a few praying mantises and geckos :) The surroundings were very quiet at the time of year outside the season, which is good for switching off. For restaurants and supermarkets, we drove to the next major town of Nikiti. There are many very nice beaches and boat rentals nearby to explore the inaccessible bays and islands. We enjoyed the vacation very much all around. This was also due to the accommodation and hospitality of Ioannis.

The cottage is in a wonderful location, close to beautiful woodland walks as well as being less than half an hour to the sea. Interesting and historic villages are in easy reach. The cottage itself is traditional and homely, and was well-equipped. Our host was brilliant.

Everything was great! The place is very accessible, very close to the beach - you can walk. It is a good starting point for touring the Athos peninsula by boat and renting a boat for an adventure to the nearest islands. Eva is very friendly, the house is big and has everything you want if you prefer a home environment. Everything is as described and as in the picture. There is a wonderful view of the island of Amulyani. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved Jade’s place, it is actually much better than what we expected and better than the photos show. Despite the bungalows and rooms were fully booked due to high seasons, it was super peaceful. Amazing beach, lovely setting with lots of green, fantastic support from Jade and her parents in low. The bungalow is basic, but spacious, clean and has everything one’s need for a beach holiday. We will definitely be back!

We had a lovely time in the beautiful house on the hilltop above the sea. The location is great, with a breathtaking view of the sea and the inland hills. The balcony is great for having breakfast in the morning with a sea view and watching the sunset in the evening. The house is very richly equipped, everything you need is available. And on top of that, we were also wonderfully warmly welcomed by the parents of Ifgenia. Her mother had made delicious pastries, there was water and a nice bottle of wine cool. There was toppings, toast, coffee, tea... The bathroom was also richly provided with beauty products. Ifgenia's father came to bring us an extra fire, in case it would be too fresh, but we didn't need that. This is the best vacation rental we've ever been to for me. With the wonderful hospitality that characterizes the region so much. A gem in a region that has forever stolen our heart. Recommended!

Eva was fantastic throughout our stay. Her home is beautifuly decorated, with lots of care and attention to detail. It has absolutely everything you need to feel at home. Location is a bit off the grid for a peaceful, quiet stay, but the beach across the street is lovely, the village is nearby, and there are lots of other places to visit within 30 min drive. We could only stay for a few days but would not hesitate to stay longer next time. Thank you Eva for the warm, attentive welcome!

This was not as expected at all, the listing describes and luxury private villa. It was basic and very uncomfortable, not luxury! It was not private as the garden was shared and the host walked around all day, so not private! It was not a villa but part of villa with neighbouring guests extremely close and visible. The access to our accommodation was through the bedroom, which had No air conditioning. The photographs were different to the reality.

The house is really nice and the host tried to help us we everything we needed. The house was clean, exactly like in the pictures. But the house the following downsides: - video cameras pointing to the patio and the pool aria - the location pined on the map is really wrong. the house is far away from the location pointed. you can reach the beach only by car like 10 min away of driving - birds nests on the patio and on the balcony, so if you have a bird phobia like myself I advice to not book the place

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb. The space is clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed, offering a peaceful retreat for families. The spacious outdoor area is beautifully green, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. The neighborhood is very calm, adding to the overall tranquility of the experience. The rooms are a bit on the smaller side, but they are cozy and comfortable, which worked well for our family. Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind in a serene environment

If you're looking for peaceful and quiet vacation this is the right place. Beach and private pool are just few steps away, apartment have everything you need and host is great! This was definitely the right choice for us with small baby and a toddler 😄 Thank you Mila, it was a delight staying at your place!

Beautiful house with a wonderful pool and nicely landscaped garden. The perfect place to spend your vacation. The house was clean and well equipped, with The Greek atmosphere. The bathrooms are small and quite uncomfortable, the rest is ok. Close to shops and restaurants, as well as the beach. Rooms passed by, there was not full privacy, but for families or close friends, it was ok.
