Our Casita was built on the foundation of a miner’s dwelling in the historic Ghostown with modern amenities & a short 8 miles from the Nat’l Park. Offers easy access, all-weather road, private patio, firepit, stargazing chairs, wifi, water, electricity & generator for occasional power outages. All that & within walking distance of restaurants, coffee, gift shops & galleries - yet far enough away to provide a private space. Hosted by long-time locals who offer insights, not just a code to a door!

Ghost town Ruin

It took my husband nine winters to rebuild the ruin from the miners back in the 40's. It has a 10" memory full size mattress, a light, coffee maker, electric tea kettle, microwave, and an outdoor covered patio area with a refrigerator. It is rustic and special at the same time. It has an electric heater for cool nights and a small AC for warmer ones. We have WiFi on the compound, however, reception in the rock Ruin is iffy at best, reception is in the Patio area of the Ruin and common area,

Stardust Big Bend Luxury A-Frame#2 with a fab view

Welcome to Terlingua's newest and most luxurious property, Stardust Big Bend. A-Frame #2 accommodates 4 people. The location is central, 5 minutes from the national park and Ghosttown, on the main highway. Each cabin has a full kitchen with all cooking essentials. A wrap-around deck on three sides with patio furniture, a covered pergola, & a firepit. We have a clubhouse with a pool table, air hockey, foosball, arcades, darts & more. We have 12 rentals in total for large groups to stay together.

Nestled against a quiet hill and overlooking the Eastwood Mesa, our trio of stucco casitas offers a serene retreat 17 minutes from Big Bend National Park. Each one-room adobe casita is a blend of simplicity and comfort. Featuring minimalist interiors and distinctive arched doors amid desert scenery. Built by miners a hundred years ago, the cabin has been comfortably updated while keeping its authentic feel.
