Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Sveitarfélagið Ölfus

Our family had a very comfortable stay at this lovely Airbnb! The room was spacious and perfect for our family of three. It was also incredibly clean, which made us feel right at home. We enjoyed the shared spaces, which allowed us to meet and chat with other guests. The kitchen was fantastic and well-equipped—our hosts even provided vacuum bags and tin foil, which was a thoughtful touch. We were pleasantly surprised by the variety of food and drinks available for breakfast, as well as the coffee and tea available throughout our stay. If the weather had been a bit better, we would have loved to explore the beautiful surroundings and meet their gorgeous horse. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this place!

Þorsteinn was extremely responsive and helpful, especially when I had last minute change due to weather. He was accommodating and understanding, I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a great experience and excellent spot for staying downtown. Great food and activities all around.

Schöner Unterkunft und Umgebung. Küche sehr sauber und alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Tee, Kaffee, Milch, etc. wurden freundlicherweise bereitgestellt.

Stefan's place was wonderful! There is a "Pillow Bar" where you can choose extra pillows- from small to large, soft to firm. The kitchen is spotless and beautifully organized, with little pictures and labels on every drawer and cupboard door indicating what's inside. We got there very late at night, and the host was there to great us, showed us around, answered questions, and was incredibly helpful. There is a friendly, fun atmosphere and the stay was great!

Wir hatten einen wahnsinnig schönen Aufenthalt dort und sind direkt noch einen Nacht länger geblieben. Tolle Gegend und wirklich sehr zuvorkommende und liebe Gastgeber. Vielen Dank, wir würden defektiv wieder kommen! :)

Cucina pulita, come le camere e tutto il resto. Offre anche una buonissima colazione con prodotti locali. Abbiamo soggiornato per una notte ed è stato molto soddisfacente, inoltre i dintorni sono splendidi.

beautiful B&B near the southcoast of Iceland. Very nice Hosts. They are very helpfull. Fully equipped kitchen for the gasts. There is coffee and tea and various other things (oil, vinegar, spices, etc.) to prepare a meal and make the stay enjoyable. Definitely recommended if you want to be on your own and visit the southcoast region.

Very cozy place to stay, the staff is SO friendly, approachable and kind. It’s really like visiting someone’s home. Woke up with some freshly baked cake and a some coffee. The only thing is: it’s a noisy house, you’ll hear everything. If you’re a light sleeper maybe it’s not the most perfect place to sleep for a longer time. But for me the fun and kind hosts (thanks Karina and Mario!) made it all worth it.

Haraldur’s place was perfect! Really close to the golden circle and great breakfast.

Chambre moderne, déco design, très propre. Hôte très gentil et aux petits soins avec ses clients. Très bon petit déjeuner copieux.

This is such a cozy and quaint place, just off the beaten path but still secluded enough to feel peaceful. The room was clean, well furnished, and had a lovely little balcony. Breakfast was incredible, as Haraldur put out a large variety of local foods and explained each one. My wife and I were here for only one night, but would have loved to stay longer.

Very good accommodation near airport, restaurants and the sea. very nice host, with a well equipped accommodation with separate breakfast room.
