10 min from Selfoss, the property is a good starting point for the Golden Circle and the thermal river. The landlords even made a small video on how to find it. Due to the seclusion, we were lucky to see aurora lights right outside our front door. The place has everything you need and we felt very much at home. Dana was an extraordinary host who went above and beyond to help make my stay as enjoyable as possible. Very responsive and friendly and easy to approach. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe and comfortable which can be quite rare. Everything was perfect. The place was immaculate and the location was exactly where I needed to be to decompress. Ragnar has been really kind and helpful, and always responded to our queries in a reasonable time. He greeted us in person on the day we checked in his house, which left us a great impression. The house, located in a peaceful and quiet village, was beautiful and equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay there a lot.

Absolutely fantastic location and host! The house was so comfy and private yet still close to the conveniences of the town of Selfoss. Loved seeing the horses outside the windows everyday. Great shower. Comfortable bed. The host was outstanding and accommodating! Don’t miss out!!
